I was wondering after a baby is born, how does the identify process (such as parent affidavit or brith certificate)work in california.
1. What kind of paperwork will the hospital provide? is that provided as soon as the baby is born?
2. Does the baby have to get a birth certificate as soon as he is born or that's optional?
3. For all the baby identity paper works, do I have to fill in baby father's name or that is also optional?

My mother makes easily over a $100,000 a year and is only paying my younger sister to go to college. I have always wanted to go to college but she has said she doesn't have the money. I am struggling to make ends meet and I thins its unfair and favortism. Shoud I have a right to an education and should my mother make sacrifices to make my life easier. She always asks for my help and all I want is an education. What steps should I take ?

I just have a question on how I'm related to someone. My aunt's (who isn't related to me by blood) cousin's child. I believe if it is your mom's cousin's child then they're your third cousin, but what if it is my aunt's cousin child (so no blood relation). Are we still relatives? Thanks in advance!

I am 31 years old and I live with my Mom and she has been acting very unusually lately. Generally she is a fairly nice lady but all of a sudden she is saying I want you out by Saturday, go to your Dad's. I am busy with school and such and she isn't listening to this. I don't pay rent though and I haven't signed a lease. Should I be concerned right now? I want to be nice to her and respect her wishes, because she is saying she needs some time to herself. But at the same time I am also sort of knee deep in my schoolwork, if that makes sense. And it's just not that convenient for me to move to my Dad's. And he doesn't have that much room for me to work. I'm not doing anything wrong by the way, I don't use drugs and I never really drink.

My ex wife cheated on me and I divorced her when my daughter was 3. My wife of 11 years is the only other woman who has been around my daughter they had a great relationship. My ex has been married 4 times and moved 17 times since my daughter was born. Her ex-fiance" is incarcerated for drugs, but everything my wife does for my daughter is made to look bad or twisted by my ex. My daughter lied so much back and forth (mother encouraging it), that I decided when she was 11, to let her choose when she wanted to come for visits. I am very involved in my Church along with my wife (whom my ex has for no reason hated from day 1). I've sent my daughter cards, letters and gifts through mail, emails, ect. My calls and messages are not returned. I finally spent this Christmas with my daughter for the 1st time in 3 years at my aunts house. It was awkward, uncomfortable and distant. How do I try to get my relationship back with my daughter )now 14) without chaos? We love and miss her.

Im still on my learners permit for driving and today me and mum went grocery shopping. I drove from home so i was to drive back again. I was backing out of the carpark and all of a sudden my mum totally freaks out screaming "What are you doing?! Ur going to crash into something!" It was pretty scary. But i was just following the instructions she gave me?!! Anyway i was so mad i got out of the car and made her drive. I started crying and i yelled at her. She said she was sorry and not be angry but wouldnt u be angry? Why did she go all psycho on me?

My parents can't accept the fact that I hate my brother and brother-in-law vice versa and that I'm being open about my hatred towards them. They have done so many wicked things to me in the past, that I'll never be able to forgive them nor forget, Honestly, I wish they would kick the bucket and fly a kite this very instant. I'll be happy to attend the funeral but I'm going to throw lumps of dung into their graves and tell the wicked things they've done to me in my eulogy. Wicked family member deserved to die and I don't know why it's wrong for me to say so in front of them and my parents. My parents have never ever given me the courtesy of listening to anything I've tried to tell them in the past, they prefer to lead a pretentious life as if everything's fine. I'm not cursing the brother and brother-in-law, but it would do everyone good if they either moved far away or died ASAP. I have my limitations and it's not wrong for me to wish they were dead. Anyone feels the same about others?

Okay , so I'm 20 years old and starting college, I've been married for a little over a year now. We've had a hard time coming up with tuition, and what we're doing is breaking it down into payments and paying the school out. My parents refused to pay for my college, saying I wasn't their responsibility anymore. I thought they should pay for it or atleast help me out some. What do you think?

I am trying to find a verified address/phone number. He is my son's deadbeat father. Moved to Florida 3 years ago and has not called, written, or attempted to make contact with his now 11 year old son.
He has also not provided support or insurance as ordered by the court system.
He is roughly 5'9", 225 lbs, has a receding hairline (used to wear it long), has a tattoo on his arm of a bulldog, numerous home-made tattoos elsewhere. Is originally from the Waterloo, Iowa area.
I am looking for this information to assist the court system and to give his son the opportunity to reach him. If you know anything about him, please e-mail.

I was by myself. I gave her over $500 a month to stay in her tiniest room in her trailer. I did all of the housework and cooking and caregiver to her 3 children while she worked. Now years later she is still mad. She feels I owe her about $3,000. I don't feel I owe her anything.
How can I convince her?

we just cant make love bcs of our daughter.we cant make it during the day bcs we have to keep our eye on her and she is addicted to her father,we cant in the morning bcs she climbes on her father,we cant do it in the evening bcs she will just wake up.we are not loud or things like this-its like she feels and wakes up.this is happening for like a month.is there someone that happened the same?plsss help

My mom is back in my life and the life of my sisters for the first time in 15 years. I'm 27 now so it's been a little hard on me but i'm over it. The thing is......she keeps making comments and saying rude things. Like she said to my sister who can't visit her until the weekends.....I guess I was out of your life for 15 years, i'd wanna pay me back for it too. We keep trying to reassure her that there are no hard feelings but she keeps stomping us emotionally. What can be done to help the relationship before we are committed for breakdowns?

Can you forgive your mother for giving you up to her mother (my grandmother). Who was physically and mentally abused to you. Then 10 years later tried to reconcilliate with you . since there is so much grudges againts her I can't forgive.Now the problem is that she wants to be in my kids life and I just can't be around her.I can sense her hipocrate self. I can't have it . She said to me that when my kids get older that she would tell then that it was my fault that she was not in there life. still now that Iam a grown woman she's not being understanding. What should I do?

My gf seems to be stuck at home. She is nearly thirty and won't leave her parents. They use guilt to make her do what they want, and she is a total coward and just gives in. We have broken up like a bunch of times because she cant take the pressure of living a double life and hiding me from parents? They refuse to let her live her life. Hi. I was wondering if i should ask my older sister if she was abused by our father because i think i was.I was very young at the time and didn,t know any better. I have dreams of my sister standing at my bedroom door whilst my father was molesting me. I have had the same dream for about 16 years. I also want to ask if i was abused.
My sister has told my mother in law and a few of her friends that she was but not me as i think she was protecting me. But i want her to know that she doesn,t have to protect me anymore as i am 28 and she is 30. I have been diagnosed as having depression because of my past and maybe i think it will make me feel better knowing that i wasn,t the only one. I just want to know the truth. I am nine years old and in the fourth grade. A lot of my friends are saying that they are 'dating' and 'going out with'...and I say "we are in the fourth grade for pete's sakes and shouldn't be dating till we are in college." my friends make fun of me....but i really do think that dating in the fourth grade is EWWWW and kind of gross. Am I really the "wierd one" here?
