Any ideas how to tell people you are a private caregiver,
ideas where I can meet seniors and offer my services?

I don't want to work for an agency as I have been cheated on pay and hours numerous times from various agencies.

I ask this Q in Family section as everyone has aging parents. Thanks.

First you must be licensed for this by your state. If you have this license and the liability insurance start advertising at the churches in your community. Use a discrete card on bulletin boards in or near the Sunday School classes of the people of an age to have aging parents who might need your services.

are you CPR certified? Have you taken classes on caregiving? If yes, put an ad in the local newspaper. There is great need for what you do.
