I just have a question on how I'm related to someone. My aunt's (who isn't related to me by blood) cousin's child. I believe if it is your mom's cousin's child then they're your third cousin, but what if it is my aunt's cousin child (so no blood relation). Are we still relatives? Thanks in advance!

No relation.

Were she a blood relative, then there would be a relation there. But, since she is only related through marriage, then you are in no way related to her cousins, siblings, etc.

However, if you want to think of them as a cousin, then that's okay by me!

No, there are not related to you. Yes, you are right about your mom's cousin's child. But if it is your aunt's (not by blood) cousin's child, then no, you are not related to them at all.

No, you are not related, so no worries there. The only way you would be is if it was by blood.
