Why does the nurse sometime slap your butt before an injection there? Has anybody experienced this? What'd you do after?

It kind of freaked me out.

this is my my family:
Grams- 70
Mom- 46
Jim (stepfather)- 50
Matt- (brother)- 30- divorced with triplets:
age 8-Susan, Alex & Michael (the boys are identical)
Lucy (sister) 22- boyfriend, no kids. She`s a twin
James (brother) 22- married to Allison- 4 yr. old son, Adrien.
Rich (brother) 18- gf Lexi (she`s stuck up)
me- 14
Paige (sister)- 5 months younger than me
Piper (sister)- 1 1/2 years younger than me
My mom might want to have more kids, because Jim doesn`t have any.

My question is: ould you like to be in this family? If not, why not? What size family would you like?

I love it, but friends all say that they would hate it. I hope my mom has another kid. My friend`s think I`m nuts for that too. My Grams lives with us. She cooks with me a lot.

What do you think? Would you like a family this size? Am I nuts for liking it?

My parents fight a lot. Well not a lot, but when they do, im afraid that they might get a divorce. I have told them that i dont like them fighting and they brush it off and tell me that they're not gonna get a divorce or anything. I know its natural for parents to fight but i just get to scared. I have a lot of friends with divorced parents and they are doing fine but i just dont know what to do. Please help

new gf. got pregnant, i got scared, then we started fighting. baby came 4 mo ago. Ive been a great dad, we have worked everything out without the court so far. Ive given he over 1000.00 dollars even before child support ordered, bring clothes and diapers all the time. I know that she thinks that im being a good dad bc she lets me take my daughter by myself. Ive said sorry long ago and have been treating her great. im really sorry about the past, and have told her that i love her and want to be a family and take care of them both forever. she says that she doesnt know what to say. ive noticed that she is wearing a bracelet that i bought her long ago, and she called my grandpa- grandpa on thanksgiving which she came over for but did not stay for dinner.
im so sorry about the past, and have extreme guilt for a broken family. i love her so much and want it to work sooo bad, do you think she is condidering my offer. I will be a great husband to her, and a great dad to our daughter.

My sister in law and I were best friends until I got pregnant. Now she calls harrassing me and calling my husband x wife to call my house. My husband has told his sister and x wife to stop calling our home but my sister in law doesn't get the point. She has told family members that she feels like that I should of waited until she got pregnant. My mother in law is a sweetheart and wants us to make up this Christmas. But I'm so hurt. I'm worried about my baby's health. I'm now 5 months and afraid that my sister in law is going to do more to affect me and the baby. What should I do?

Well last year my parents passed away and my younger sister(she is 17 i am 24) came to live with me. Well she had been acting out a bit the last 3 months but nothing serious. But a few days a go she showed up at the house at 4 in the morning clearly drunk(probably done drugs) Well first i figured I should take care of her now and we would discuss it tommrow. So i took care of her and what not. The next day I went in to her room to speak to her about it and she cussed me out. I was so upset i pulled her over my knee and spanked her long and hard. Her bottom was crimson. I left her to collect herself and came back to speak with her about 10 mins later. We hugged, I explained my situation layed out some rules and all that jazz and then we went to a movie. Thinks have been quite a bit better since then. But I just kept feeling weird about it liek I mean i am her sister it was weird to step into the mom mode. do you think this is too werid?

Just say this: Okay my birthday is today and no calls, no nothing from my mom and all my sisters (except one-told me happy b-day) and brother.
This truely hurts my feelings. I know i am 27 now but it hurts to know that when it is all my other sibling's birthdays our mom buys them something or takes them out to eat or whatever but me NOTHING.

What would you all do about this? I am sick of being done this way. It is like i am not even part of the family and i don't understand cause i am no different than the rest of them.

What should I do? My parents divorced several ylears ago, so I am currently living with my mother, my dad lives two hours away at the dental office he owns... My mom has recently been pretty hard on me; for instance, I didn't know she put christmas decorations so I didn't compliment her on them. She got very mad at me, and started referring to things that happened years ago that I did, and she said everybody hates me, you're the reason your parents divorced, nobody cares about me, I take everything for granted, I'm a pig, I'm an idiot, I am the reason she isn't dating, she can't have friends over because of me, and she even went as far as to call me ugly... She just told me an hour or so ago that the only responsibility she has is to feed and educate; everything else is a privelage, and that I don't deserve any... Whats that supposed to mean? She also is saying she can't afford very many groceries, but when my sister comes home from colleg

here we go,ive been a single parent for 9 years. always had christmas with my mom and dad at their house. now im engaged, last year was horrible, everything got screwed up between my and his family. this year my parents said to make things easier they'd go to my brothers family place. they have never been with out my kids for christmas and they are hurting and even mad. ive explained now that we have a blended family its easier to have christmas in our new home then my and his family can come and visit when ever they want. i should add my parents and him are like oil and water. hubby thinks kids and me are to spoiled by my parents(true) and parents think hubby isnt doing enough. how do i keep everyone happy??

My mother....Shes 52 yrs old has 4 grown up daughters and 7 grandchildren, the problem with her is she gets obsessions with famous people the current one being Jose Mourinho the current Chelsea manager, it first it was funny but now its getting beyond a joke, shes got signed pictures of him she cuts every article of him out of the newspapers shes practically made a shrine to him in her bedroom, she watches every Chelsea match just to catch a glimpse of him although she has no interest whatsoever in football! She goes on like a silly teenager its embarrasing shes also been like this before with others it was antonio bandereas then for some strange reason it was john malcovich, I m just glad we dont live in London cos she most probably be arrested for stalking! Am I right to be worried or is this harmless behaviour?

My son's father left 3 years ago and we haven't heard from him since. I can't find a phone number or anything with his name on it. I know he is in canada. I know his sin number but that's it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to find him . I don't want child support we just want to find him.

I have to make the decision to be happy or continue to have contact with my family. Whenever Im around them I can feel this thick fog start to weigh down and I feel like ****. When I start to spend time away from them at first i feel alone but then I start to finally feel free to live. I know this sounds dramatic in a sense but I really want to live my life the way I have always dreamed and this would mean not seeing my family much for probably years. I feel like I need so much room. I dont want to hurt them but they already have so many problems of their own. I have nothing left to give them. I am drained. I want to break my thought pattern on this whole situation and finally learn to love myself and not have this empty feeling. How do I do this?

My dad (whom i would probably get contact info from) had a fling with, lets call her Belle, about 10 or 12 years ago. A son resulted. My dad has never been a good father, and Belle told him he was not going to be in touch with the son, and that she would let him know how he was doing, but the son would be raised by her husband, as his. When he turns 18, or before if Belle allows it, I would love to get a hold of him and get to know him. I have 3 sisters, and no brothers. I would like for this guy to know he has two half sisters, and be able to see him...does he look like me and my little sister? Does he look alot like my dad? Either way i would definetly go through Belle first, and have her permission. If you were my half brother, do you think you would appreciate knowing your half-sisters existed, or not? Family is the very important to me, and being estranged from a sibling is killing me. Advice, opinions???

ok im almost grown now well i have a year left til im gon from high school or whateva but i get a headache when i wake up this morning and decide to got to school thinking it might get better but to only find out that it doesnt so ileave school and go home and i tell like the dean of school and the lady at the fron desk where im going and i go and im sleep for 4 hours until 3 and obviously since i didnt sign out the school calls my mom and dad. Well my dad comes home and gets in my face about not telling anybody where im going and starts cussing at me and im like ni99a hold on cus u aint been here all this time and now u wanna start acting like a parent and start being concerned so i play basketball and hes like u need to go to practice and i tell him that thats the reason i came home becasue i didnt feel good so were arguing the whole way over there i just wanna know why he starts to act like a parent 16 years into my life.

My grandmother is about 75 and she has problems with her leegs, hands, and her hearing is going. She lost my grandfather about 3 years ago. Scince he also had bad health she was used to caring for him, now she can do less and less. She calls us about 4 times a day and no one else in the family will help.

I would like to find her a hobby that she can do without assisance.

Whenever my mother and I have a fight she'll always say.... "you won't have to worry about this when i'm dead"

It makes me feel really horrible because i love my mum more than life itself. Whenever she says it i always break down because it hurts so much. She knows how it makes me feel because i tell her not to say it. She has been to the doctors a few times but never really tells me what is wrong with her.. whenever she's sick she makes it worse than it really is to guilt trip me.

Would you say this to your child? And i have two brothers.. she only says it to me.
