a great gift would be that you volunteer to do a few chores around the house. or a homemade certificate stating it is good for a household chore of your (your mom's) choice, and the time she chooses.

As a mom I didn't expect phisical gifts from my kids and I always got something, but you know what really gets to a mom? is good behavior from her son, is having help around the house without one telling you to do it, is getting good grades at school, and being a better person each day. THAT WILL MAKE YOUR MOM'S DAY.
Show her LOVE each day and at every time.

surprise her on the day of the occation with a chore that you already did... like empty the dishwasher, do a load of your clothes, clean the bathroom, vacuum the floors, make dinner even if you only cook spaghetti and a jar of sauce, make her bed, paint a picutre and smile at her while you tell her that you really appreciate her and love her. Tell her she is a good mother, because if you are concerned about a gift for her it sounds like she is....

well it depends on how much you want to spend. you could get her a gift card to the store of her choice. where does she like to shop? or if you dont have any money you could give her card that says you will do chores for her.mothers like lotion, and they like pins . they like nic-nacs. they like necklaces. you could download some music from your computer and give her some cds. you could buy film and have pictures taken of yourself and put them in an album and give to her.what does your mom like alot? find out and go from there. ask your dad what he thinks would be a good gift and see what he says.

that is so sweet of you to take time and care enough to ask.
my answer is "a clean kitchen" dishes washed, floors mopped, and maybe a letter or poem to let her know how much you love her and appreciate everything that she does for you. and if you really want to buy her something i would say earrings.

I would say a robe or pajamas. Or even slippers. Those are always my favorite gifts.
