I have been dying for a cellphone, but I don't want to just come straight out and say like, " I want a cellphone for Christmas, mom." That would just be awkward, how do I tell my mom and/or dad that I want a cellphone without coming straight out???!!!! Please help, I am dying here!

Just be upfront and honest. Just let them know this is what you want. I hope you have proved yourself to be responsible enough to have a cell phone and they can trust you. Ask them if you can have one of those prepaid phones or the Disney phone for kids. Let them know you think it might be helpful for emergencies.

If you really want one that badly you need to come up with reasons why you should have one. Present it as a must have.. not a want to have...They should be good reasons like because of the area you go to school.. it could be used for safety reasons. They have those new ones now that have just a few safe numbers punched in for that reason. I do have to say though..11 is a bit young. Are you sure you're ready for the responsibility?

leave cellphone ads by their purse or wallets or on the refridgerator and when a commercial comes on (if they are in the room) say oh that's really cute or I wish i had that. No matter what you do a closed mouth does not get feed so you better do something if you want it.

say "if I get good grades can I have a cell phone for Christmas!?" or (like I have to do) save money and buy a cool prepaid phone. I use my phone everytime to call my mom when I "miss" the bus...I was around 12 and a half years old when I got my first phone..

if you are only 11 you dont need one unless you go to like the movies and dances there is no reason to get one i didn't get one till i was 13... so i wouldent hold your breath but if you can i would just wait till they ask what you want.. maybe email them a pic of one that you like or won that you want...

okay heres some ideas:
Write it in a notebook, something like "I wish my parents would get me a cell phone. Thats something I really could use. And it isn't like I would abuse that priveledge."
Go to sleep with your hand by your head like its a phone
Comment on cell phones you see, like- "Oh! that one is nice looking." or "That deal sounds great!" when a comercial comes on about it.
