Yes I would take care of them and no I would not charge a salary. The reason I say that is because you have to look at them just as you would your mother and sister. The other thing we never know when we might get sick and might need somebody to take care of us. So let us do unto others as we would have other do unto us.

Loving your spouse is also loving his/her family. You can do it either way and not have to feel guilty because every person is worthy of their hire. In other words it is okay to get paid if the finances are available and you need the money. Taking someone into your home to care for them is honorable just as taking care of someone out of the goodness of your heart, paid or not.

I love my mother-in-law and have never met my sisters-in-law. I would take care of them for nothing. For me that is the right thing to do.

Take care of them out of the goodness of your heart; they are family after all!

I would take care of my mother-in-law or sister-in-law for free. They are my family! I love them and I would take care of my own mother or sister for free so why not my husbands?

it would all depend on the circumstances, am I able to afford it? Are they able to afford it? If I didn't need to work to survive, then yes I would do it out of the kindness of my heart. If I couldn't afford it and they were well off, then yes I would agree on something to help care for them and not have to work outside the home. If neither of us could afford it, I wouldn't see how it could work out. It's a very difficult decision to have to make. I definitely would look at all avenues before deciding a "no" answer...

I would care for them for no cost at all.
That's what family is there for. In the good
times and in the bad.
