change my name because louise has a lot of bad memories with it and i like the name brooke, do you like that im being stupid, because people ive known all my life wouldn't call me brooke they'd still call me lou (short for louise) and is it very hard to change it??? real help please not silly answers -x-

Recently my unmarried brother died in California. He has no will that we know of. I am the closest survivor (sister). However, his retirement from work listed the beneficiary as my other brother (deceased in 2001). Don't know if I am also listed or not. The other brother had a child and wife (not the mother of said child). I am not mercenary, but wonder what's in it for me.

i just got married 3 months back... my husband stayed here with me till one month.. then he left to other country where he do job... my mother in law is not fair with me... she always creates fuss just becouse she cant keep me in her control... she wants me to be in control of her.. she want me not to take even a single decisions of myself .. i have to ask permision from her for every small thing... & my husb tell me to obey her.. the problem is she is not fair with me. I take permision from her for everything as they want.. but still she do my complains to my husband by calling him when she feels that iam not in her control... THE MAIN PROBLEM IS my husband believes his mother more than me !!! to support his mother he can even tell lie to me ! i have seen that.. and also i have proof of it with me ! But these things are spoiling our relationship.. TELL ME WHAT SHOULD I DO.. so that .. the relation between my husband and me should not spoil....

my brothers girlfriend is a complete nob!! since they started going out he has changed completely, she is sooo jealous she even accused him of fancying me!! How sick is that!! Me and my brother always got on but she has come between us, its weird when we chat she is really (falsely) nice with me, and through out our conversations she will try and push me into an argument calling my mum saying she wants to slap her fat chops, even resorting to calling my kids and saying my brother hates them, she is so sick and twisted i have kept my cool for soo long and tried my best to be nice, but i cant. i want to tell her exactly what i think of her but i cant for my brothers sakek, i am disgusted with her, she stops my brother from seeing his family, god she is twisted!!! i hate her i really do, and i cant pretend to like her anymore. Shes a proper weirdo and my brother can do so much better! me and my brother arent close anymore cos she has twisted him, what would you do?

I am undergoing B.com and doeacc a level. my sister always wants me to share home responsibilties with her.my exams of doeacc r in jan and i am managing both progammes but I always I devote some time to household activities too.
Firstly I wasn't interested in this career as I wasn't given opportunity in language and literature though i had great guts for it and that makes me depressed.
Her remarks 'you cannot manage things' made me cry the whole day as I always carry responsibilities.my parents r busy i don't want to trouble them.
I am judged on my career i didn't want.plz advice me how to manage studies coz i cannot just explain things at home.

OK, so my Gramma and Grampy are constantly bickering. You know they're old, every little thing matters...
Usually, their arguments don't make anything happen, they just bicker! But yesterday, my Grampy tripped and fell down the stairs in their condo! He is blaming my Gramma who WAS home at the time and he says she tripped him. My Gramma is saying she doesn't know what he's talking about and he's out of his mind, and she's the one who helped him up after he fell. I know her, and I know she wouldn't do something like that no matter how mad she was about any argument! But is it possible, or is Grampy just being stubborn or well....old??

They are seriously GOING TO COURT about this, my grampy is going to try to sue my gramma! They each called me seperately and asked me to side with them in the trial, but they didn't know that they both called! I said i was busy and I'd have to get back to them on that because I don't know who to choose! HELP!

We are 4 members in our family, (my inlaws, my husband & myself) all are doing job and we are very much busy. software mnc companies won't leave us early in the evening. hardly we get 8 hrs to stay in home. We are so busy that we don't have enough time to talk to each other, to care, to spend time outside, to take rest. Is this the situation in all families? Is there any solution for this I don't want to leave my job & the same time I don't like this kind of routine life.

u c....in my passtime...my father was a CFO in a well-knowntelecommunication company in my country..his paid was so high that he can buy anything.....i was a princess back then..i get everything i want..but after 10 years..he decided to quit and now he is bulding up his own company....i hate to say this..but the bussiness was a disaster...he had no contracts for months now...and he has 0 money in his bank account....i m very sad....
luckily my mom has a job and she gets paid fine...but now....my mom seems to pay for all our expenses...and i dun like the thing happened to me now..i will be going to University in abt 3 years time....so if my parents had not enough money in the bank accounts how am I going to pay the fees and stuff....i m realyy need help 4 now

I live close to an aunty whom cooks for me (long story) I have to visit and eat there. I hate going there because i keep catching her husband looking at me weird. We never talk and i usually ignore him. my gf (not mother) said a few things that really bother me
1. when itold here my daughters name she said " thats an ni@ger name!.
2. she also blurted "I don't want to meet your daughter anyway!"
3. "your daughter's mom is white trash"

i really like her but am ready to split bc I cant forgive her for these rude few remarks that piss me off, she has never met my daughters mom.

My son is an excellent father! He pays child support every week, takes his visitation twice a week, and really tries to be the best father he can be while he is with her.The problem is that the baby's mom feels he doesn't do anything right. He lives at home (he's 19, baby is 1 1/2, mom is 18 & pregnant again by another man) so now she don't like one thing or other when she is at our house. What do I do? I lost my temper really bad once & have a restraining order against me, but I love my granddaughter & son dearly & can't stand seeing him treated like s**t all the time by her and her family. My dad died 2 months ago. He died without knowing that my mom was cheating on him and I feel like I've lost a huge part of me. My mom has already remarried and I feel like she is moving on very quickly. I want to love my new step dad but I feel resentment against him b/c he was with my mom while she was married to my father. I also have two new brothers that I love. But I feel awkward around them b/c they have taken me in as a lil sis so quickly it hasn't given me a chance to adjust to the situation. The rest of my family act like totally different ppl. My lil sister was an ice skater representing the state of California in Competions and she totally dropped out of that. My oldest brother was so nice b4 and now all he does is sit in his room and llisten to music, or sleep. My oldest sister is partying and drinking alot more then she usta. My brother thats 2 years older then me has taken up smoking and I think that will ruin his career with skateboarding.

I am a mother of 3 yr old triplets and a 15 mo old now my grandma has asked me if she can HAVE one of them because i have more than i can handle, she has asked her friends daughter who can't have kids if she wanted her to talk me into giving that lady one of mine HOW FREAKING CRAZY IS SHE? she invites herself without asking , my boyfriend doesen't like her shes put him down time after time when other men would probley skip town but No he stayed and for the past 4 years hes taken great care of me and his kids . Her husband told their dad if he doesen't want or love them step aside so He can take care of them!
What do I do? She's even mentioned kid knapping one of my kids due to her missing them so much . I told her not to come this weekend after she invited herself to spend a couple nights without clearing it with US! Am I wrong?
