Carry on buying the C.D.s, just because your mother in law has lost a leg it should not stop her from enjoying the music. She might be interested in dancing in her wheel chair, or if she can with her wheel chair. I know that Christmas presents used to be a surprise, but why not ask your mother in law what she would like ? There maybe things that she needs because she is stuck in a wheel chair ? Good luck and I hope that you all have a Happy Christmas.

Why not ask her what she'd like. Explain that you'd rather get her something she's like - I'm sure she'll understand. You say about slippers - she still has one leg and will need footwear for the remaining foot xxx
