OK, so my Gramma and Grampy are constantly bickering. You know they're old, every little thing matters...
Usually, their arguments don't make anything happen, they just bicker! But yesterday, my Grampy tripped and fell down the stairs in their condo! He is blaming my Gramma who WAS home at the time and he says she tripped him. My Gramma is saying she doesn't know what he's talking about and he's out of his mind, and she's the one who helped him up after he fell. I know her, and I know she wouldn't do something like that no matter how mad she was about any argument! But is it possible, or is Grampy just being stubborn or well....old??

They are seriously GOING TO COURT about this, my grampy is going to try to sue my gramma! They each called me seperately and asked me to side with them in the trial, but they didn't know that they both called! I said i was busy and I'd have to get back to them on that because I don't know who to choose! HELP!

personally, i think u shud call both of them n arrange meeting together. (do this before the rtrial if u can)
then try to be the middle person n avoid them goin to court.
hopefully they can make peace n forget bout this court thing and juz grow old together^^

if tokin nicely to them still doesnt work.... try kinda "scare" them a little... say like, if they gona make u choose, u gona rebel or be bad or somthing like that. coz im sure they care for you rite... but OF COURSE dont rebel or anything like tat... but u r juz saying u kno.. to get the sense out of them that you dont want to choose which side..... n again, there's plenty of ways actuali...

but juz try to get the point accross tat wat they're bickerin now is useless and goin to court bout it is even worse... try givin the point that it's juz a waste of time, money and hurt everyone else in the family.... since they're granpa n granma, they shud set an examples to those younger rite :)

hope u can get the sense out of it and hopefully this help......
good luck

Don't choose, it's not up to you to decide. It sounds to me like maybe, possibly someone has the starts of Alzheimer's . I don't know their age. A lot of couples get along by bickering (heaven knows I have a few friends who fight constantly), the only warning sign I see is Grampa falling and blaming Gramma. Where are your parents in this whole scenario??

If you are a senior citizen - like your profile says - how old are these gramma & grampy folks? Old enough to exist only in your mind? The mind that causes your elbows to exude strange stuff when you speak your dog's name?

You know what, you don't have to choose a side. You may want to consider talking to them at home....
Things happen. Accidents happen.
Be the wiser person in this situation. Tell them you WON'T take a side. Tell them that things could be resolved without going to court.
Tell them that if they want to settle this problem in court, you wont have any part of it.

Good luck

My grandkids reside five hours away but if they arise throughout the vacations we bake tons of cookies and at night time we package up and stroll across the vicinity to appear on the lovely lighting and decorations. The oldest is best two so she does not quite comprehend however optimistically they hold bobbing up throughout the season and those will grow to be situated traditions.

It seems their marriage isn't what it used to be... They should try to go to marriage counceling to see if they can fix their relationship (if they've lasted this long, they can last forever). Lots of things were probably going on with your Grandpa to where he just took it all out on his wife when he fell. He should get over it eventually...but they really need to talk things out to truly improve anything.

Instead of siding with one of them, can you find a way to help them reconcile their differences? Try to be the peacemaker. After all, they once loved each other enough to get married, so there must be some core of goodness each of them likes about the other. Please try to show them how much they need each other. Good luck!
