Talk to her about it and explain how you feel. Perhaps she will allow you more time on it at night. Then again perhaps she wont.. Whatever the case maybe is it worth SNEAKING around and chance losing the comp for a long time?? And not only that but losing trust? Really, there are rules in our house too, they are not set to make your life miserable, they are set because of love. She abviously wants you to be sleeping and not on the comp because a body requires rest especially when you have to get up early.

She loves you right? Why would you want to disrespect her? If you asked me, dont do it. I mean really if you sneak around, get cauht and suffer a long period of time for a few hours of chat, really is it worth it.

Or the bigger thing to do is speak to her like an adult, in a calm and loving manner and ask her why she has set the rules and if there is anything you both can do to come to a compromise to make your life and hers better..

If you want to be trusted and if you want respect, show it to others and just see how far that gets you.. You will find that you will be treated with repect and you will be trusted. Is that worth something? Yes..

Forget the little green light, just grow up and act it..

Remember this: When I was a child, I thought as a child, now that I am adult, I will think as I should.

If you're not worried about doing any harm, you can always gauge out the little green light from the outside in. That way, she won't see the bulb anymore :)

On the other hand, you can just tell her that you need to use the computer. Either way works just fine (possibly).

Spike her drink, or put some shades on her, or put your screen in a box (pushed back) and that will block most of the light. The light will come out straight at you, instead of producing a glow throughout the room.
