My spouse suffers from severe mood swings, has little to no sleep most of the time, is extremely emotional (either too sad or has some rage issues), complains of terrible nightmares when he does sleep, and has even told me he has another "him" that is constantly trying to affect his choices and personality. This was said at a time where he seemed very open to speak to me, but these moments are few and far between. I have expressed that I believe he should see "someone" as an avenue to getting him some help. My husband quickly reacted negatively when I suggested he see someone. This issue affects our marriage ( I am constantly walking on egg shells to avoid conflict), and our two small children. Am I being too paranoid? I began anti-anxiety meds this year as an avenue for me to cope with this situation...but maybe I'm just over-reacting. I would really love some advice from people who are professionals or from those who have been through something similar. Thanks.

LIKE THOSE PEOPLE WHO PLAY FANTASY FOOTBALL/BASEBALL.... THEY SPEND MONEY TO ACTUALLY TRADE FOR BETTER PLAYERS SO THEY CAN WIN. I CAN UNDERSTAND IF THERE'S A CASH PRIZE BUT MOST OF THESE PEOPLE JUST DO IT SO THEY CAN WIN SOME MEANINGLESS CRAP.

I WONDER IF THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST AS OBSESSED WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR REAL LIVES, JOBS, FAMILY, ETC.

My boyfriend and i have been together for almost two years now, he had cheated on me and the girl called me and now they not together so he says. But she has migrated and still keeps calling him and he tells me about it. But then a few nights ago he opened a hi5 profile and instead of tryin to add me first she was the first person he looked for and he said that his cousin did it but i dont beleive him. He say he dont like her no more and talks bad about her n always tell me wat she call him n say but i am confused wondering if he still wants to be with her instead of me. He says she gotten fat and ugly now but i wonder if he will talk the same way about me to his other women if we break up.

I had never seen my father cry in my entire life. When we were at the funeral of his father, he cried at the casket. I am kind of like my father in the fact that I don't hardly ever cry. That day my heart broke, I cried with him. Saddest sight I have ever seen. My father was always the strong one. That day, I guess, I felt through him, his pain and sadness.

Recently my husband agreed to help his mother fix up her vacation home. He needed a motorcycle because of gas prices in order to get to work and her house cheaper. She sent him $3000 to buy one, and now she runs him around like a dog. Expects him to spend any extra time working for her (we have 3 kids by the way). We got into an argument with her and she threw the money up in his face. If you ask me, if she hired a contracter to do all that he's done she would have paid $4000-$6000 for the work he's done already, she says he's only worked off $500. What can we do to change the situation?

I have a 14 year old daughter who is very smart, does good in school, very responsible and very caring. Problem:
About 3 years ago she got into a fight with a friend of hers. The mother called the police on her, and lied to me to say she didnt. When i was on the phone with the mom, the girl jumped on and called me the B word. the girls broke off their friendship for about a year 1/2. one day my daughter came back and said she was friends again. I was really upset. long story short- that child cannot call my house, cant come over, my daughter cant go there, etc. I dont want to have that child around or her mom. This girls' bday party is on mon. and my daughter wants to go. I told her she can go to the party but NOT to the sleepover. She is upset. She said i told her she can stay the night. Am I wrong for saying she can go to the party but not the sleepover? I think I am being fair since I dont want her around this child in the first place. I can forgive this girl, but not forget.

What is your worst memory on the first day ( or any day) of school..
For me it was in 5th grade when the teacher was picking on a student that had been homeschooled and was very shy, she kept trying to get him to talk and when he wouldn't kept putting check marks by his name...

As a mom~~ It was my daughter's first day of Kindergarten (she's now in 6th) the day started off rough, I was sobbing and she ran to get on the bus without a hug bye to me...then to top off the day they misplaced her--the teacher got her and another student confused and made the other student ( a boy named Eric) get on the bus when he was supposed to wait for a parent and my daughter (Erin) wait for me to pick her up when she was supposed to be on the bus.

I still to this day am a nervous wreck when it comes to the first day of school. What are your school memories?

She was punished for kicking her brother and runs to her room saying " I don't love you anymore"! I was in tears! How do you teach a 4 year old that words hurt? Punish? Discuss? How to teach her a lesson so she will think twice before saying that again? I have put up with the "your mean" for a while now but this is getting out of control at too young of an age!

The problem is for some reason our kids have been particularaly
rotten lately.
The 12 and 13 year old boys argue and fuss over the computer and don't attend to their chores.
Our 17 year old daughter acts like since she's working full-time for dad this summer she doesn't have to do anything at home.
Our 19 year old just sleeps and eats at home, doesn't even keep her room tidy. She's working fulltime and will be going to college in Sept.
All that being said our kids are basically of good character, I usually know what they're doing and who they're with. And since this is the first time I have worked full-time since having babies, I've got a bit of the guilt thing going on. I would appreciate your views on my dilemna.

i always knew that my dads best friend had gone to jail before but i didnt know the whole story until my step mom told me here it is...

one night my dad went out clubbing with his best friend while me a 3month old baby and my real mom were home asleep. he and his friend met this girl and my dad took her back to a hotel were he had sex with her and then left, she wanted him. then after that as my dad was leaving (his friend was in the room with the girl) he heard a scream but kept going. she was screaming because my dads friend was raping her.

how do i deal knowing this? there is no way i could talk to my dad about it and i mean i was at home with my mom when this happened...
