I visit my friend Rusheia in Little Rock, ARI left early because things were not going the way I planned?
I called her on several occasions even left messages at her work , but she has not returned my phone calls. I'm to point where I say **** it maybe we were not really friends to begin with. We share every secret, plans, and scheme but not men. Whew! what do you think about this whole situation? and give me your honest answer when answering this question. I pay for my trip, stayed at a hotel even took time off work. If i knew this was going to go down I would of save my money. HELP!

My neice did something great to help me, and I want to get her a surprise to thank her. She lives 9 hours from me, and I don't get to see her very often, so I want to make it extra special so she knows that I appreciate her help, and also that I am thinking about her even when I'm not there. She is 8, but emotionally she's much older (she helps take care of her disabled mother, so I'm not just saying that). Any help will be great. Thanks!

My son is 11 months old, starting to get into things around the house (Yes, it's childproofed) and not really responding to "No" or any other verbal warnings. Is he at the age where a little swat on the booty will teach him what is wrong?

PS. My wife didn't have spanking as a child and I did, we both turned out great.

I am 16 years old and my dad is a alcoholic and a drug addict. I turned him into social services and they have asked some question and i have cover for my dad alot becuase he made me afraid that if i told them the truth that I would have no one and he would be at home and i would be alone with starngers. Well eventually my boyfirends mom got involved becuase I had been at her house for 3 months and my dad hadnt called once or done anything and i just liked being away from all of the problems. well then they started to talk to the social worker about getting custody of me because school is starting soon. well the lady went and talked to my dad and he said he wants me back and all that. well I was so scared that i would have to go back and i talked with my boyfriends parents and they told me that if a really wanted help I had to tell the socail worker everything. Now i have told her everything but now my dad is making it out like i am a rebelious child. does anyone know how to get help

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any kind of assistance in housing for a single mom with little money. I may be homeless in two months, and I could use financial help to find a home. I have a full time job that doesn't pay well and I am in the process of finding a better one, but in the mean time my roommate is moving out and I can't afford to pay rent for this apartment by myself. I have no security deposit to fall back on. HELP!! Any info is greatly appreciated!

In my case when i was little my grandma would have me keep secrets, because she was giving me stuff my mom didnt want me to have....but when it grew into keeping secrets that my dad was abusive and not telling what was going on, and also there was other ones to the point it eventully did a number on our family, i have seen it do a number on other familes..so i have grown up and i dont keep secrets. I have a big mouth..what is your feelings on keeping secrets in the family?

my father died7 months ago and now my mom is in a nursing home he used to take care of her because she had alltimers sorry i dont know how to spell it but im close anyhow. well she got money from my dads estate we gave her my moms money that went her her when my dad died we gave my brother the money to order my dads marker for his grave which my brother and his wife spent and didnt buy the marker so me and my husband went ahead and bought it and i told my brother and his wife that me and my husband bought it and i told them now u know who really cared about my dad IM PISSED that they spent the money i want to take them to court and get my moms money back that she deserves and i wont talk to my brother or my sister-n law anymore am i wrong for that?

I know I should be the better person and forgive and forget ( as I always do)but this has happened more than once and the odds are it will keep happening--- she will never learn! I am not on speaking terms with her right now. We are both adults now and she really has to realize I am not her kid sis anymore and she can't keep treating me that way!!!

I have a mother who has never lived on her own. Doesn't pay her bills, has always lived with her 90 yr old mother, who pays the rent off her social security. I think the problem is that she has never had to grow up and be responsible but now I fear that the responsibility for her will fall on me. I can't let my mother live on the streets but I do not want her to live with me and my family. I think she's a poor example for my kids and I know that she will drive us crazy. She's almost 60 yrs old and has the maturity of a teenager. What do I do. How do I handle the situation when she asks for me to take care of her. When I was 19 I joined the air force mostly just to get away from the horrible situation but seems like I won't be able to run far enough away. How do I tell myself that she is not my responsibility and let go without breaking her heart.

My sister has a 1&1/2 yr old baby. Lives with my mom. She's19 boyfriend is 21. When she found out she was pregnant she was not with her boyfriend. She was desperatly trying to get him back. Did she get pregant on purpose? I saw her smirk when she found out. He came back. My family offered her tons of support -"terminating the prgnancy" or adoption. She refused. She promised to move out with her boyfriend once she finished H.S. My mother is a single mom with 2 highschool boys at home a 29 yr old who won't leve. Now a 19yr old with a baby. Sister has now moved in her boyfriend. My mom has no privacy and she pays for the meals and the housing. Thier friends are always there. Sister refuses to work claiming she can't do work & college. Although boyfriend has a job, NO ONE there contributes financially toward the cost of living. I think the only way to make them stand on thier own feet & be strong for thier baby is to kick them all out- except the 2 H.S. kids. Am I wrong?
