Family - August 2006

Within the past year I had two of my brothers pass away. My youngest brohter was hadicaped from birth he wasn't supposed to live passed five but he lived until he was 18. My older brother passed away 7 months later do to alcohol, when he passed out he sufficated to death. He was only 18 months older that me, I took the death really hard and still do to this day. When i have a bad day I act like an @$$ to everyone. I know my girlfriend loves me but when i am having a bad day and act like that i am affraid that she might leave me. Is there anyone who can relate and help so i don't loose her. Does this feeling get any easier to deal with??? If so when and how do you deal with it???? Is it bad for my health if I don't talk to anyone about it???

We were together for 9 months I recently left him three weks ago. I love him to death and never imagaine my life without him. I had known him for two years before I dated him. He knew everything about me. When we got together he was perfect made me so happy. Four months after we were together we started having problems becaus he started hitting me. Well needless to say it kept gettin worse. So I left with just the clothes on my back. Came home to my moms. Today I got a letter saying how sorry he was and that he misses me so much that he wants me to come home. And that if I don't he knows that is all his fault that he never meant to hurt me..I feel guilty for leaving and I miss him so much but I know that it won't get better. I just don't know what to do. I was all he had.

I hate that! Everytime I'm around them I get nervous and I think it shows too. Sometimes there are the weird awkward silences lol. It's really bad on the phone I think. What can I do to fix this!?!?

I am now age 59 and recall that my mother told me as a very small child I had an older sister living in Europe. She never discussed it again. Since she left high school at age 15 or 16, that person would be 15 or so years older than me. My mother is deceased and I am not in close contact with any family especially anyone who may have knowledge. Additionally, I am thinking that no one alive will know for sure. My mother's family was originally from Poland and both her parents were born there. She was born in the USA. I do have an aunt who I think may be alive. Don't know if she would know anything or even talk about it if she did know. And being very elderly, she may not even remember. Any input on this would be helpful.

for ever since I can remember my mom has tried to take full control of everyone in our family, and so far me and my grandmother are the only ones who see what she is trying to do. and that is she abuses my dad mentally, and just because he is non violent, and takes more mental abuse than most dads would take, my mom is a pure disgrace. a reason I also believe this, is that my dad owns a private cemetary for my family name. and my dad plannes on being buried there, but my mom would not be able to because she is not acquire the name or relation to my many generations of grandfathers, and you know what she did. she talked my dad into getting cremated along with her when they die, and buried togethor. she did this because of greed, and my father did not want that. and I can give more reasons, but must not. she was the biggest mistake in his life. what do you thik about all this? do you think that when they decease I may be able to renew their arrangements by taking it to court myself.

I am living with my crazy old grandfather. He always keeps the basement door locked. But at night I can hear scratching and strange sounds coming from down there. I found out where he hides the key. Should I go open that door and see what's down there? I am a small built girl but I am not afraid.

Is it ok to be scared to have kids? Mom left me with her step-sister when i was 3 and said she was going to a job interview. After 3 days she still hadn't come back for me so here sis took me to my grandma's house. I lived there for about 8 years then moved in wit my dad and step mom then just last year my step-mom kicked me out because she read my journal and didn't like what i said. And my dad didn't say anything. Is it ok to be scared to have kids because i don't want to be like my parents.

My brothers are so annoying. I say one thing and it is held against me for a lifetime. My mom won't do anything nor will my dad. If I don't do something they will never stop. They do things that hurt my feelings and I end up crying. I try to ignore them but then they make fun of me for that. I need help.

We currently live in a small community in Montana of about 4,000 population. There is nothing here to offer my children. What are the schools like, is there a problem in the schools with drugs, much crime in the city, etc. Places to live? How expensive is living in Cedar City? Any help would GREATLY be appreciated!

Do parents have to pay for school supplies/school clothes for someone who is going to be in 10th grade and is only 15 and only babysits as a job? is there a law where the parents have to pay for these types of things if they are essentials for school?

All your answers are totally right. Gonna have a hard time picking a winner. My husband will be thrilled that so many people agree with him. Ya know the weird part. They put on airs like they are the royal family. My aunt always yelled at me not to put my elbows on the table. Now I think sweating into something you are going to eat is gross but even more gross was the blood incident. I really don't see them anymore and they only live ten miles away. Also when they come over I have to cage my animals because they hate them. My animals have better table manners. Why do they NOT see anything wrong with what they did??? I don't get it.

I see this children in television who eats garbage because their poor, would you eat it if ur really poor and nothing to eat?
Consider this:don"t waste food because a lot of kids or people don't have any food to eat.

We got into it Saturday, & she's still mad @ me. I apologized, & she didn't accept my apology, she told me she doesn't give a damn about me, & my 23rd b-day is this Friday, & she said she doesn't care about my b-day. On a daily basis, I can't ask an intelligent question or make a simple statement without her snapping @ me.

As soon as I can lay my hands on $2,000, I'm moving out of state to New York . I had no choice but to live with her because I lost my home as a result of Hurricane Katrina. I'm trying to get back on my feet & get stable again.
