How many kids can you have in the US without being looked and talked about?

I meant by other people. I see it all the time they talk about families because they have a few more kids then they do. I heard them call others Trash and sorts of things. SO how many kids are too much?

i have seen people talk about someone with 1 child because they couldn't take care of them properly. My Mother had 5 and she was doing a great Job no one ever said anything about us being trash or anything. So you can take care of them have them.

when someone has more kids than they can afford and it's obvious by the way the kids look and act that's when people talk and say it's too many. if you can afford to have 8 kids, dress them, feed them well and take good care of them, then go for it and ignore what anyone says. Your kids are being taken care of and that's all that matters. it's the large families that have 8 kids with holes in their clothes, stains, dirty looking hair, sneakers that are falling apart and they look like they need a good meal that people will talk about.

Wow. I think it just depends on how well you can take care of said kids emotionally and financially. If you have the means and the love, and you have a big family, I don't think anyone would call you trash. Mormon or Catholic, maybe!

If you can't afford to feed 'em, don't breed 'em.

Whatever you can pay for (food, clothing, educate) w/o government assistance (food stamps, welfare, WIC, SSI) you can have if you so choose.

why would you care what other people think? Do they support you? Do they feed you?...As long as your a good citizen, just let them gawk...:)
