I have this new 14 month old adopted little sister, and she has a birthmark onthe left side of her eye. Now if a little kid asks what that is what would you say instead of telling them that it is a birthmark? I am just curious.

I've been lying since I was little and it's about the stupidest things, things I wouldn't even get in trouble for. I don't know why I lie and can't seem to stop. It has really put a horrible strain on my relationship with my mother and I'm on house arrest, grounded, and have to keep my bedroom door open at all times. I want to talk to a psychiatrist and have discussed it with my mom several times, but nothing ever seems to get done. I am desperate. What should I do?

We have a 13 year old girl. She is awesome at everything she does, she's very athletic and she's so pretty. She makes good(adult) decisions when she is put in any situation. But, we are afraid to let her have a boyfriend. Do you think we are being to harsh?

She says all her friends do it and that is not fair I don't let her spend the night out. She has a curfew at 10pm except when she goes to dances or other events that are important. She is a great kid, gets good grades, doesn't care for drugs, alcohol or cigarrets but she hasn't proved to us she is responsible enough. We still have to treat her like a little kid reminding her what her chores are around the house which are not that many....just keep up with her bedroom and bathroom and clean after herself. My parents never let me spend the night outside of my house and even now I always come back home to sleep in my own bed, in my own house no matter what...by the way, I don't drink and drive. She has a boyfriend also and I my fear is that she will start getting used to spending the nights out and end up doing it not to be with "friends" but with the boyfriend and get pregnant. Besides nowadays you can not trust anybody and I don't really know the parents of her friends well enough.

My wife is in the US expecting a baby. I only need a two week visit visa to the US to cut the cord and be there when she's delivering. Does anyone know how I could go by it. How can I convince the Visa officer that I would be back to my country with my wife.

My new 14 month old adopted little sister has this great personality, smile, and laugh, but she has this birth mark on her left eye. Many people like her laugh, smile and personality, but they notice her birthmark most. I know one person who asked about her birthmark like this, "What is that on her face?". Do you see how that person asked? I wanted to smack that person right across the face for asking so rude. I didn't though. I glared at that person and said in a mean tone, "THAT is a birthmark.". I then picked Lana up and walked away. I was sooo mad at that person. Can I be calm when they ask soo rudely?

My mom is so annoying. She always assumes I do nothing in the house when I do more than her! And she's upset with me because she thinks i have a boyfriends when i dont and she thinks i'm lying and stuff.... And she tells me i have too many needs, and wants and she thinks I only like my dad better because he gets me nice things.... And She is saying that, even though she a has a crap load of clothes and coach purses and ****. And shee is always telling me to come out of my room, And i dont spend enough time downstairs with the family! Well, what the hell am I supposed to do with the family? And she spoils my little brother and sister and when I try to teach them a lesson, she gets mad at me!! Well, someone has to take charge and she isnt the one!! So, Why do parents always tamper with your life and assuming things when their not true?

Hi I just got in a big fight with my brother. It was because he was mad I moved his DVDs a couple days ago, and was angry that I "can move his stuff" but he cant touch my stuff. He started challenging me to fight him, I was mad and a the other side of the kitchen and I threw a box at him, then a bag of rice, and then he came at me trying to choke me and punch me and my mom was in the middle trying to stop us and he broke the closet door. He is much stronger than me, so I had no chance if my mom wasn't there. I have red marks on my neck and arms and I called 911, the police came and I played down what happened so he wouldn't go to jail. They just talked to him and he was crying like a baby and they left. What should I do now, I am tired of this crap, he is 21 with no job or school and I am 20.

My 14 month old adopted little sister just learned how to climb on our couches and she sometimes goes so far on the arm that it looks like she is going to fall. I don't want her to hurt herself by falling HARD off the couches. How do I get it straight to my lil' sis' to not jump when STANDING on the couch and not to lean so far on the arm? She also screams at me when I put my hand out infront of her to not make her fall off the couch. I don't want her to get a serious injury or somehting. Help?
