Divorced parents.....mommy spends all her time with new boyfriend.....daddy is never in one place for more than a week...the kids want us to go to court and get custody......should we?

I am a twin, mother of 3 and single. My twin sister is single and gay. She has no children. I have pretty much helped he through school, scaraficing for her, helping purchase her a car, gas, insurance and any other speniding money she had needed. She has now graduated and has taken a job across the country with her girlfriend. I called her because i was in a fiancial bind and really needed some help. When i asked her for $$$. She decided to tell me that her girlfriend and her are purchasing a new truck and then they were going to Cancun. I hung up the phone. I was upset that she thought that was more important then helping me, thinking back on why the reason i am in a bind is because i did so much for her fiancially. Am I wrong for feeling like i dont matter to her. She pretty much said F**k you. That is how i feel and i am angry as hell. She can NEVER EVER call me for another damn thing, no matter what it is. Do i have reason for being angry.

My ex Husband has been dating a girl that used to be my best friend since we were 15 years old my ex and I have been divorced for 8 yrs and i have been remarried for 6 we recently moved back from cali to vegas and we see them at my son's soccer game well the first weekend I saw her I wanted her to feel comfortable so i went up to her and asked her how she was and there baby and she was nice too but when my ex arrived she flipped out she was cussing at him telling him she can't take this and i was like what did i do? so neways next time i see her do i even acknoledge her?

We but a big emphasis on trust in my house. My daughter used to be so good about shots and so I would warn her ahead of time. The last time she had a shot...and the last time she had to be checked for strep (long Q-tips down her throat) she went nuts....hysterical. I know she will not handle tomorrow's shots well. But she has to have them before kindergarten. So my dilemma is: Do I tell her ahead of time or spring it on her? If I tell her ahead of time she will freak out and anticipate the shots and it will be 10 times worse because she's had time to think about it. If I don't,. I'm afraid she'll lose faith in me when I nicely walk her into the office and then....wham! ....no preparation.

I live with my mother and im not happy. i know all kids and parents have disagreements but this is different. i really need someones help. i just turned 15 and ive been unhappy for like 6 years now. i dont think its fair i have to live the way i do. I need to know who can help me and is there anyway i can live with my aunt. My mother says she wont let me. is it her choice in a situation like this?

I am fixing to adopt a 9 year old boy and 10 year old girl.

We have no biological children. No friends who are close to us with kids.

What is "cool" and what do kids like at those ages?

My mother claims that because she's 'country' she cusses and that because I'm 'city' I should just lighten up. She always refers to a bowel movement as sh..... i, t. That word is just as bad as any other cuss word to me. We try to say respectable words around my daughter and my mother always tries to work in the sh word in many conversations. I don't understand why and when I confront her about it she gets mad at me and won't talk to me. Any advice? Suggestions?

I have a 5 year old autistic son who is non-verbal. He, like many autistic children, will sometimes start laughing long and hard for no apparent reason. Are there any autistic people out there who can shed some light on this? Is something actually funny, or is it just an undirected urge to laugh?

we have never gotten along since like I was 15. I can never do anything to please him, at least very few times if it does happen. I have never been close to him and all I ever wanted was to be a daddys girl....he is emotionally abusive and when I was younger a little physically abusive. I know i never will be close to him but just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me????

Her mind is totally on having a boyfriend. I've had the mother/daughter talk, but it obviously didn't work. She seems obsessed with boys. How can I persuade her to find out who she is and what she want to become in life without keeping her locked up in her room until she turns 18? Are there any books or magazines out there she could read that may help her? She plays basketball and cheers. Any other sports that may help?
