Technically no. But he can still be a part of your family if you want him to be.

It all depends on how your relationship was with him while he was your brother-in-law.

If it was good and you want to continue, then yes, you can easily treat him as part of your extended family.

I think that the traditional family where everyone can only be connected to you if you are married or someone else in the family is married or by blood is slowly going away and it's being replaced by an extended family concept.

A family is what you make of it, whether it's a group of close friends, or a traditional mom/dad/brother/sister/grandma/grandpa.

Love as always,

Sebastian

Depends if you you still wish to claim him as a brother-in-law. Circumstances of the divorce could help determine that.

You were related thru law (hence 'in-law') not blood.
once there is a legal divorce that 'in law' bond is negated.

My ex brother-in-law is still my 'in-law' as far as I'm concerned, cause I really like him...even though my sister (his ex wife) hates him. LOL

Nope. Notice the In-Law part? Well, they are no longer legally married. So there is no "Law" keeping you connected.
