I used to b sk8ter but now i wanna go gothic and my stepdad disapproves it. But im mad cuz it makes me think that he doesnt like who i am. he hated it when i was already sk8ter and every thing but thats who i am!

My sister is thirteen years old. I found some pretty disturbing poems and diary entries on her computer about how her life sux, my dad is never here, my mom is a "spaz" and i'm an a$$whole. She thinks she's Emo (the way she dresses, does her hair, the way she does her make-up at times, the way she thinks, things she does and music she listens to)She thinks that the only way is to slit her writs and then everyone will be sorry especailly my dad (she has scrathches on her arm if you can call them that!). Although my dad works from home spoils her rotten and never says that he doesn't have time for her or the rest of us. Yes my mom can freak out sometimes but who's mom doesn't? and brothers and sisters arn't always supposed to get along. I don't know why she is doing this or how to stop it. My dad is a hardworking man who helps everyone especailly his kids and for the first time in my life i saw my dad cry when he saw joie's arm and she seemed almost proud that she made him cry. HELP!

my best friend went to jail yesterday, and now my mom doesnt want me to hang out with any of my friends. My family 85% fake and they dont want us to hang out with people that are "lower than them". which i think is a bunch of pigshit. i dont wanna stop hangin with my people cause i know they always got my back. I want to do something so that i can go to jail to make a statement.

I just told my mom that I'm moving in with my fiance in august. She said if I do she will never speak to me again. I'm 23 years old and my mother is very over protective. When I try to talk to her she walks away even when I follow her. Am I making the right decision by moving out? I do want to live my own life and be happy. But I know my mom won't be.

my brother and I both recently started a family. He is trying to sell his co-op and wants to move his family back to my parent's place. He told me he wants him, his daughter and baby's mother to live in my old room. I very often visit my parents and stay in my old room with my son, most of my belonging are still there. I currently (rent) live with my son and his father a few miles away and are stuggling to pay rent. My baby's father and I are not on speaking terms with his parents. My parents' house is my saftey net. He is also going to try to sell my parents' co-op to buy a big house for his family and my parents to live in. My parents also want to buy a house and ofcourse they want all their children and grandchildren to be invited to stay. So my problem is he's taking that away from me. I told him how I felt and he told me that having a saftey net is being selfish. And if I really need to move back I can stay in the living room of my parents' place.

I have a 17 yo daughter that physically threatened to hurt her little sister and I threw her out of the house becuase she has been threatening her since she came back home. I do not know what to do anymore, my 17 yo is living with a friend of hers and her friend thinks I should make amends with her but my daughter doesn't want to get a job or help around the house. All she wants to do is sleep all day and be on the phone all night. She does not do drugs or drink but I just can't handle her attitude. What should I do and was I too hard on her? ~ A mom in distress!!!

okay, yesterday my stepdaughter, (we arent technically married yet, but been together 3 yrs, i consider her my stepdaughter) called her dad. the day before on the 4th we had a get together and her sister or her did not even speak to me, my fiance wasn't there, he was working out of town, well, jokingly i said "dont speak stuck up" and i was laughing and she had been there 25 minutes and not spoken to me. well now they are making a big deal out of it, said i hurt her feelings, they have hurt my ALOT! well his 17 yr old daughter told him i was a witch with a b and that she didnt like me and why couldnt he just get away from me. he set her straight and his pregnant daughter (the one i spoke to) said if we cant all get along she doesnt want me there for the birth of her baby which is any day now. my fiance stood up for me but then it hurts my feelings how they do...their mother (his ex) has called me and my kids names and i'm supposed to accept it?) what would you do?

I got married about a year and a half ago. I told my mother's cousin (who lives out of state) that I wasn't able to invite her because I didn't have room for more people at my wedding.

This is partly true. The main reason is because I haven't seen her since I was 16 and she was always mean to me when I did see her.

She yelled at me for adding too much sugar to a cookie mix, she yelled at me for spelling her son's name wrong, she told me I was a snob for shopping at the more expensive grocery store, etc.

Did I mention I was only 11 when she did all this?

Why should I feel bad about not inviting some psycho second cousin to my wedding? My mother felt I had the right to not invite her.
