Go to Hallmark and buy a card and an ornament saying 40th anniversary or a romantic CD.

if u have the money u can go have it made but u can have them carve in wood or metle what evr u like .happy 40th anniversary and what evr else u want to put on it. i got my mom and dad a lildog named masie. but theres a lot of things u can get them!

day at the spa for the aunt....
restaurant coupons for a restaurant near them.
sticker for the car that says "sexy grandma or sexy grandpa"
framed pictures of family reunions or pics with them or their kids in it.
CDs of big band music from when they were young
A fruit basket or candy basket or sausage collection.
Jelly collection or any kind of fancy food...
Like fancy salsa collection (go to a culinary store at the mall)
Or oven mitts..
