I am 20 years old and and my Dad was ordered to pay child support while I am a full time student. My mother has taken the money for all these years and I have been supporting myself. She contributes nothing towards my school or personal expenses and I am struggling. I do not think it is fair and neither does my Dad. I want to go to court and have the money go to me directly instead of my mother but do not know where to start.

My mom gave a baby boy in 1968 when she was 19 after her fiance dumped her b/c she was pregnant. I would like to know about him. I want to know what he looks like, how's he doing in life, if he has any kids, etc. I am shocked to say the least because I NEVER imagined my mom in a "situation" like she was. How do I find out about him? Can I find out about him? Also, I am curious b/c I am the only single sister left out of 3 and I tend to date older men (and he would be 10 yrs older than me) . I know it's far fetched but what happens if i accidently date him? Should I confront my mom about this? I know it's selfish but I feel like I have a right to know. I know that she had to do what she had to do but I would really like to find out more about my brother. Thanks for your help.

Childhood memories, especially traumatic ones, most often than not, impact on one's adult life. Is this true of your life? If you realise you have inherited some undesirable traits from such unhappy memories, will you do anything to change that? A child from an abusive family will grow up having an abusive relationship as well. True? False?

On the flip side, a child growing up in a secure, harmonious environment will become responsible adults. True? False?

Please give the question much thought before attempting to answer it. Thank you.

My childrens father and I have been living together for 21 years some good some bad. We have not been a real couple for the last 12yrs. But we stayed living in the house for the children so they would have both parents. Not putting aside that all of the children are handicap in some way. Also not putting aside I have been getting sicker for the last few years.
He has had at least 4 affairs that I know of and he has had them around our house with the children. But he feels that I should not have anything to do with another man. But it is hard because I am tired of being alone and not having someone there the way I want them to be.
Am I wrong to feel this way?

I have moved our laundry hamper from room to room and he still throws his dirty clothes on the floor. I have put his dirty dishes in the shower with him and he still leaves them all over the house. How do I get through to him? Our 2 yr. old cleans up better than he does!

When my husband proposed he said he didn't care about kids, he just wanted to be with me. He knew I wasn't thrilled about having kids, actually I let him know I was against having them. He thought I'd change my mind after marriage. Now he's considering divorcing me and finding someone who will want to have kids with him. I love him so much that I agreed to have a child to make him happy, but soon realized that the thought of doing that made me feel miserable. I've told him how I feel; he's bummed out. I'm afraid to lose him because we have so much fun together. I wish I could've met someone who feels the way I do. Is there something wrong with me? Why do I feel like I don't want anything to do with having kids? I've never felt maternal at all.

My dad died early last year (May his soul rest in peace) and we were so close.....I miss him so much and not a day goes by without me thinking of him. Surely by now i should have come to acept his death. My Husband thinks i need Help! cos sometimes i dream about him and cry in my sleep. I just want to know if this is normal? I have accepted that His gone and we'll see him one day, But i Miss Him So Much it Hurts!

I have an 8 month old daughter. She seems to be cranky and sleepy all the time. She sleeps about 10 hours a night, has a 2 hour nap in the morning as well as the afternoon. She's in a good mood for about 1/2 hour. It just seems like a lot of sleep for her age. No, she's not teething or hungry. HELP ME!!!
