A critic gives their opinion with the intention to make things better.
A cynic gives their opinion just for the sake of being critical. They offer no solution to the issue.

By definition a cynic is never constructive. A cynic basically looks at the dark side of things and would not therefore be able to offer any contructive criticism.

The critic should be giving positive feedback, even though it might not be what you want to hear. The cynic is always negative even on the good points.

I feel critics offer more objective advise whereas cynics always will see a negative in everything. Do not surround yourself with cynics, you may become one. Seek out positive people, it works : )
