Try any old copies of your tax returns if you filed jointly. If she filed separately check with the lawyer who is handling the estate or the executor if it isn't you. If you are the executor and don't have that information you'll have to contact the probate office for asisatnce in getting a copy from Social Security.

If the person is dead, you can get their SSN from the Social Security Death Index. Go to the website below and just put in the person's name.

Look through all her old paper work.. Drivers license.. I think you could go to the social security office and get it if you have a marriage and death certificate.

This is a strange question. It should be on your tax returns, bank records, health and life insurance and all those gazillion papers we fill out throughout our life.

You are advised to keep the last 7 years tax forms.
That will do it.

Do you have a copy of your wife's Death Certificate? Her social security is on it. I hope this helps.

What about retirement or insurance paperwork?
If she ever worked, look for pay stubs.
