My mum has told me she and her partner are getting married this February. My Dad is still bitter and hurt about being dumped almost 20 years ago. (Yes I did say 20!). He suffers with depression.

Me and this guy met in summer school and we had a little summer romance. When school started everyone found out and I think (i think...) he was a little embaressed. Everyone keeps begging him to ask me out but I havnt talked about it personally to him. We still hug and he holds me when im cold, and whenever I come around he blushes, but he insistes that he doesnt like me to everyone else! Now hes moving and I am heartbroken! My friend went up to him and asked if it was true that he was moving, he said yes and asked how she found out. She told him I told her. Then he asked how much I like him. She said ALOT, and told him about this t-shirt my mother got me that says "I Love Brent." He said "she really likes me, Im screwed now!" What should I do? Is there anything to do?

I got dumped today by my girlfriend. She did it by e-mail. No, there were no signs, no signals. It was like I got punched in the stomach. I was careful not to strike out. I waited a while and then made a short diplomatic response, advising her I would follow up later in more detail.

Right now I feel terribly depressed and in pain. How do you handle it. I am 31, previously divorced. My gf is 26, so maybe there was too much an an age separation. Any advice???

I'm a 24 year old man and I'v been single for over 4 years.
My sister and my mother say I should stop worrking out now because I'm getting too muscular and I'll never find a girlfriend. They say that most women hate big muscles, is this true?
I thaught the opposite was true since big guys like Vin Diesel and Daniel Craig get plenty of positive attention from the ladies.
My sister also says I have "self esteem issues" just because I like to workout, not really sure what she means by that?

Have you known someone that got married, just because they were tired of being alone? I have a friend who is getting married tonight and they are getting married just because he said is tired of being alone. He has had lots of girlfriends and he is a great looking guy. I am not going to the wedding because I live to far away. I don't think that I would go anyway and support him in this. Why do people get married for that reason? Shouldn't you love someone and know that you are supposed to be with this person before you marry them?
My friend is only 23.

I've had a friendship with a girl, let's just call her Sara.

We have been friends for about 9 years now, and there was a gap between our schools from middle school to high school. I'm a sophomore and she is a freshman. Since that gap of time where we weren't in school for a year, she has changed so much.

She used to be fun, outgoing, and talkative, and all around jump first into a situation person, just like I am.

Now she is, a boring, quiet, and weird person all the time. Meanwhile I am the person that always talks and yells and is almost overly outgoing, and we used to be like a pair that was identical. And now whenever I'm around her, I am just like "Ugh, you are so annoying now, why am i friends with you?"

I feel like the past 4 months of this behavior have resulted in the degradation of our relationship, and I feel it is the best choice for me to just put her behind me as a friend and move on.

Is this the right choice, or not, what should I do?

Guys tell me that I'm very attractive. Actually, I get asked out on dates almost every day.

I will date a guy for a few months. But then he will say that he's not sure if he feels more like a friend towards me.

Every time, the guy says that he loves being with me, that I'm not doing anything wrong, that I am great to be around, that I'm gorgeous and a very nice girl...but they just don't feel that "spark" that they want to feel. In fact, many of these guys have given me great signals all along, e.g. calling me a lot, asking me out several times a week, etc.

I'm enjoy sex and am open minded, so that shouldn't be the problem. I wonder if the problem is that I don't play games, and I make myself very available to the guy. I'm clear about how I feel about them (i.e. that I like them).

I could play games but it just doesn't appeal to me. I want someone to like me for who being honest and kind, not for jerking them around and being unavailable. How can I change this dynamic?

I mean you see ugly guys with pretty girls all the time. I myself have fallen victim to that more than once in my life.

Is it a swagger thing? Because a guy with good swagger can easily get a pretty girl even if he's not the finest guy but the same thing (in my opinion) can not be said in reverse.

My mom had a Christmas party and my dad took me and my brothers out to lunch. My mom called and said that my dad didn't have to buy us food because there would be some at the party. Me and this so called friend know each other for years, but for a while now, he always try's to put me down, always try's 2 correct me, and everything i say, he tries to prove me wrong all the time, even if its a simple, " it might rain today" comment, he will freaking go online and ****, and try to prove it wont.
Not to Mention, i get a feeling that he lacks self confidence, and tries to use me as a punching bag to gain whatever his trying to get back, he betrayed my trust a few times in the past, but came back, crawling, and ran with it in a way, that didn't make it look like it was his fault.
i am getting tired of this, he use to be a decent person,
but he changed, what should i do ?

Should I confront him,
to get all this **** off my chest ?
because even if i ignore him and forget about him
i will feel like i have a scar 4 life
i will still have all this negative/bad memory's of him inside my head. And how, any suggestions ? because he always trys to ignore serious conversation

How important is sexual compatibility to you and your SO?

How vital is it to have similar sex drives? How about liking the same techniques and positions? Compromising over sexual inhibitions?

Sexual compatibility to me is a vital part of a relationship, and something that at least needs to be talked about in depth, or preferably, examined through safe monogamous premarital sex.
