Why do people insist on telling other people how to live their lives? I mean u can give someone ur opinion and they can take it if they want but if they don't why do some people keep pushing the issue?
Say their making a mistake on who their dating, don't u think it's their mistake to make? Would u stop talking to someone becuz YOU thought they were making a mistake, or would u stick by them regardless of their decision?

I'm not talking like people on here asking questions and answering, I'm talking more on the lines of family and friends.

I have this female friend...

She's talked me down from a suicide attempt, been there for me to talk to when I was going through a bad breakup and school woes.
She's come to me for advice on boys, school, computer problems and a ton of other stuff. And I've helped her through breakups and similar stuff.

We both grew up in the same town, same high school, but frankly, there are differences - she's kinda snobby, lots of money. And I really don't think she is my type or vice versa - she seems to go for different guys than me.

Yet I think I'm in love with her? Am I really? Or just a good friend?
I certainly don't want to broach the subject of my feelings, as it might hurt the friendship.
Oh, and she's since moved to the midwest - parents got transferred (I'm in Washginton state), and we keep in contact online only, and a phone call sometimes.

We're both college age, not in high school. Over 18, so this isn't some little kid drama.

What should I do?

I'm going to a straight-edge wedding in a couple months and just wondering if anyone else has ever been to one...or heard of it!

(Note: straight-edge means no drinking or drugs of any kind. It's usually a life commitment made by someone who had a problem with them in the past).

Ok, this question has been bugging me, every one picks on me because i am naturally thin, i have even been called anorexic or bulemic by vindictive girls. Is it wrong to be naturally thin, i'm also 5'3 which doesn't make it any easier. I also still wear size one to three jeans, oh yeah mostly skinny jeans. DO guys really like voluptuous girls more than thin ones?

I honestly hate my body. I have naturally big breasts and a small waist. I hate it. I would get a breast reduction but I'm too scared to do that. I hate how women give me dirty looks and men think im easy because of my body. Is there any way I can down play the size of my breasts? Gaining weight won't make me look normal...all my fat seems to go straight into my chest...my legs and stomach won't get any bigger.

And No, I am not trying to get compliments. It's actually kinda hard to do my job when people won't stop staring at me and it's aggravating when men don't look at my eyes when speaking, they look down. I want people to respect me and stop looking at me like I'm an object. Maybe some people want big breasts....but I'm not one of them. And don't bring in people who have actual disorders...this isn't about them...I feel sorry for them but I'm not going to just tell myself to get over it because they have worse problems. Everyone feels this way about something that most people think is unimportant. I don't want to sound mean, that isn't the point, but I'm trying to get respect in my work enviorment...not women wanting to kill me and rolling their eyes when they see me talking to a guy. I've had people, strangers, come up to me and ask if they're real. I don't want this attention

.

i want to know what would cause a man to turn down sex. and how would i go about approaching my guy about "why we don't have sex very often" sometimes i get the excuse ," i don't want sex to get old", or" i'm just tired", or "stressed". if that's the case he's been tired and stressed for 6 years. i am attractive, intelligent, and in my sexual prime who caters to his every need. what would cause a man to have little or no sex drive? a few notes
in the beginning of the relationship we had sex maybe once every two weeks, now it's once a month sometimes longer.

After 1 month of friendship with a girl, I finally decided to say to her that I like her and ask her out to know her better. Finally some how I said all thing and she replied that right now she is not looking for any relationship (she talked about her last BF, and how they broke up).she said that she want to be single and enjoy her youth age with her friends. I know her answer was so stupid, but I know all people have right to choose their way of life and I respect her. At the end, she said we can still be friend, and also I acted cool. When I gave her ride to her home she hugged me and leaved me. I like her but I can’t do anything.

I met a great girl in October 2004. She was my first serious relationship, and I had just turned 27 when I met her. We both hit it off well and got engaged in March 2005. Over the next few months our relationship went south and she broke up with me in October 2005. I loved her deeply, but I don't think she felt near as strong. She never seemed to give as much as I did (she was only 21, I was 27). I have tried repeatedly to move past her, even telling her it's best if we not talk. Six months ago, she moved to a different state. Still, I think of her everyday and still want her sometimes. Most of the time I wish I could just forget about her completely. How can I be sure I am truly over her? How can I know if I'm ready to get serious again?

I finally got a date with my friend, Michelle, who I've taken a liking to for some time now. The problem: she is delusional. We were at the food court in the mall, and she expected me either to go up and get her a chicken sandwich, or at least go with her to the counter. Of course, I refused. It's the responsibility of the woman to serve the food, that's just a fact of life. I took out my wallet, gave her a 10 dollar bill, and told her to get me a caeser salad. She didn't like that too much, so I had to get a little physical. I pulled her up to the counter, she ordered the food, and I told her to wait by the table. "You'd better wait for my request to sit," I told her. She doesn't seem to understand the position of a woman on a date... how can I tell her without hurting her feelings?

I am the sort of person who sees things that aren't there and looks for hidden meanings etc: so excuse my naiveity. I went out with a girl. She says it wouldn't work between us because she could never truly get over he ex, though I think it was her unique way of letting me down gently. Anyway, she's sort of interested in someone else but it's not serious yet. She wants to be friends, something I'm struggling to accept because I still have feelings for her. It's too raw at the moment. It appears as if she's moved on and I have to accept that I know and do likewise. We haven't spoken for a couple of weeks because I've found out things she's lied about to me. She hasn't had the guts to speak to me and she knows I don't like her much at the moment. Last night I went out and she texted one of my friends to say she hoped I would have a good time. What's it to her? My life doesn't revolve around her. Maybe she thinks I wallow at home pining for her. Why would she say that?

I'm engaged to be married and suddenly I'm having mixed feelings about everything. I feel that I'm sacrificing too much for my fiance and he's not willing to sacrifice or compromise as much for me. I'm beginning to learn that he's very closed minded, me however, I'm the opposite. One example is me always wanting to adopt at least 1 of my kids and give birth to the other. He is not supportive of the idea because "he's never done it before and doesn't want to ever do it." I asked him that even if it was one of his wife's desires to adopt 1 child would he go through with it...he said, "You can't have all of your desires, that's just the way life is." Now I'm at a crossroad. The things I truly love are things he seems to not be willing to compromise with. Is it worth it to sacrifice so much when the person you're with is not sacrificing hardly anything at all?

I would really appreciate sincere and thoughtful answers. Thank you. :)

My husband and I were separated, I during the break-up, I had a fling. I later told my hubby about the fling and with whom it was with. I did this so that the relationship would be brought to the open and that it wouldn't go any further.

When I told the guy what I had done, I told him that I wish nothing ever happened between the two of us and I wish I never told you anything about how I feel. He said, "No, what you wish is that you didn't tell your husband."

I believe he is the one that wishes I didn't tell my husband...so that the affair would continue on. What do you think?

He has always lied to me and was the type of person that if they put their mind into something they will go and do it doesnt matter what I think or feel.... and he would lie to get his way because he knew i would get mad - doesnt matter what about big and small things - and everytime i found out about a lie he'd tell me he wouldnt lie if i didnt get mad and accepted everything he does and always turned it around and made me feel like I was the reason for him lying - its all my fault! and now that we broke up because of another lie, i now feel it was all my fault again and if i didnt say anything or w/e he wouldnt have lied to me - i feel like the manipulation is taking over me even now..... its only been a week! i cant go back to him!

my sister in law has two kids 12 and almost 14. they are good kids and she loves them to death. the problem is that she is in her second marrige (my brother) and they just dont want to listen. when they are with their dad he just lets them do what eve they want to do. my family and their mom bust our taills to tell them whats right and to listen, but all they seem to do is talk back and act like they dont care because they know that we would not do any thing to them that they know will make them sad or angry. the girl acts like a baby(12 year old ) and the boy is starting to act like a little thug and a punk. he gets along with me sometimes because although im almost 30, i still live young sometimes. the sister in law is going to break any dsy now because the kids are just treating her like crap. what can she and we do to make them appreciate what they have in life and to change their attitudes. iknow its to late for spankings, so whats next?

We dated for 3 momths i 29 she 25. All of a sudden she states she was not feeling the spark anymore but she was so into me and wanted to marry me and have kids etc... There were issues of her claiming she neded space and that we needed to know eachother more. She was in a verbally abusive relationship one month before we met ended in a restaring order. She was so happy with me saying how lucky she was and all. She also says she wants to remain friends cause i am a good person. She states she wants to be friends and still hang out. She also states that she broke up with me in a way maybe to get to know me better and for me to just be cool and let her think. She todl me thatt we had a good relationship and she will probably regret this decision for breakup. Family loved us together. She knows i love her and would do anything for her. Is this her way of figuring things out or am i done in her mind. I am just confused on how this came out of nowhere. Any advice of life exper.
