What can I do to make him stop feeling like that cause I'm really not trying to give that impression

Ask him why he feels that way. It may be something that you are accidently communicating to him but it could also just be a reflection of his low self esteem.
You won't know until you talk to him.

You should ask him why he thinks that or else you'll just be scratching your head over it. Do something special for him, like bake him cookies or take him to see his fave sports team, something that you wouldn't do for just anyone.

Well, maybe he's not good enough for you. You can't control how he feels, so there's not much you can do. I think you should fine someone more confidant.
