im 44 hes 42 started seeing each other and hes very bossy controlling, should i dump him and focus on myself?

OMG...drop him ASAP! Don't ever get serious with someone who is bossy and controlling. Look at all the domestic violence against women. It starts out the way you described, but only gets worse. I'm not saying that your relationship will get this way, but odds are it will be. Focus on yourself!! Dump him before it's too late. The more he controls you, the harder it will be to leave him.

If u'r so not in 2 control freaks my answer is ''YES''...cause a man who wants 2 4ever control your way of being and treat u like his damn puppet does'nt deserve 2 have a relationship at all.Yes,start focusing on yourself until u find the man who could really deserve and honor u as his woman.When that happens,just b happy and enjoy life with him and those who truely love u.Goodbye

don't ever let anyone control you or tell you what to do. you are your own person! if he's like that now, imagine how bad it will get when or if you get serious! and everything will probably always be "his way or the highway" instead of a joint effort. only you can decide what is right.

Lose him! If he can't let you live your life the way you want to and he is going to tell you what to do with your life all the time,next will be arguments,then anger,then breakup.Wouldn't be a very good relationship.
