I honestly hate my body. I have naturally big breasts and a small waist. I hate it. I would get a breast reduction but I'm too scared to do that. I hate how women give me dirty looks and men think im easy because of my body. Is there any way I can down play the size of my breasts? Gaining weight won't make me look normal...all my fat seems to go straight into my chest...my legs and stomach won't get any bigger.
And No, I am not trying to get compliments. It's actually kinda hard to do my job when people won't stop staring at me and it's aggravating when men don't look at my eyes when speaking, they look down. I want people to respect me and stop looking at me like I'm an object. Maybe some people want big breasts....but I'm not one of them. And don't bring in people who have actual disorders...this isn't about them...I feel sorry for them but I'm not going to just tell myself to get over it because they have worse problems. Everyone feels this way about something that most people think is unimportant. I don't want to sound mean, that isn't the point, but I'm trying to get respect in my work enviorment...not women wanting to kill me and rolling their eyes when they see me talking to a guy. I've had people, strangers, come up to me and ask if they're real. I don't want this attention

You can get a breast reduction covered by insurance, especially with your complaints of back pain.
I had mine reduced Feb 2006 (38J to 38C) and don't regret it one bit!
A LOT of women get breast reductions, especially because of back pain and other health issues.
Please really look into it, it changed me completely and I would get it again if I had to!
I have a "surgery story" as well if you would like to read it, send me your email address via message.

When I was in the Navy, one of my troops showed me a picture of her taken a few years before. She stood 5', and looked like Dolly Parton. She had breast reduction surgery. She was having back pains, shoulder pains. She lifted her shirt and bottom of her bra and you could barely see a light pink scar under her breast. (Yes, we were that close as friends...long story.) She is a beautiful gal and since the surgery, she was a much happier one, too. Talk to a surgeon about a breast reduction. Like Dawn, I think you'll be much happier. One day we had a party at the home of one of my other troops, and I noticed Dawn and a large breasted neighbor in the corner talking. That summer, Tina (the neighbor) was over in her bathing suit and something just didn't look right. She soon said, "I have to take this thing off. My stitches are itching like crazy." Then it dawned on me (pardon the pun) that she, too, had breast reduction. Those little puppies were standing proud. Good luck!

Try 15 with a DDD- high school and middle school guys=jerks. I went through the big shirts, sweaters, everything, but it doesn't really help. I just wear modest clothes, try not to hang around crude guys, not flaunt em. Maybe try a minimizer (they helped me thru 7 grade) or even look into breast reduction. I am considering. If you have back pain ( i got a little) then def. consider a reduction. I know how you feel-it sux... Terris website also helped

Go get fitted for a good bra. Tell them that you want one that will play down the size and not increase it. They have to have something out there besides sports bras that will do that.
If worse comes to worse later on you might have to get a breast reduction. A friend of mine who was very short and petite did because her breast were causing back problems.

Why would other people's jealousy make you hate your body? You have what many women pay huge amounts of dollars to pretend to be. Of course they resent that. If they resent your boobs, they'd resent anyone who was pretty, or thin, or successful, on and on and on. If a stranger came up and asked me about my boobs, I would tell them to f off. That is not socially acceptable behavior.
You were given what you were given. Reducing them surgically is as unnatural as implants.
I'm sure it works fine sometimes, but I know of a woman who was thin and had a large chest, she got them reduced, not only did they grow back a full cup size, she was left with rather horrible repulsive scars--"Frankenboobs". Any surgery is risky, why risk complications or disfigurement because some people are frickin' immature?

its hard to have this problem i know because my friend used to have this problem and she tried everything....taping them down, wearing big shirts, even wearing smaller bras to hold them down.......but then she started haveing back problems because of this issue which wasn't good...so she ended up getting the reduction and we all were there for her. She was scared as well but after wards she was healthier and felt more confident. I think you do it to because eventually you might have the same problem....stay strong and if you ever need a lending ear I'm here for you!!

You shouldn't be afraid to get a reduction! It's one of most popular procedures and lots of people are doing it. As long as you make sure to go to reputable, certified doctor. I used to work with a woman that got a breast reduction, and she looks great now!!

If your breasts make you uncomfortable, try dressing differently. Don't wear shirts that define your cleavage avoid tight or clingy knits. Maybe you should seriously think about getting a reduction or try body image counseling.

if you are having back problems, then you should consider a reduction. but study up on the procedure so that you can be aware of the risks involved. but i would personally think twice about going under the knife if its just something you want.

People have all kinds of plastic surgery, implants and reductions. If you are secure in yourself, if this surgery is about you and what makes you feel better physically and better about yourself find a reputable surgeon and go for it. Life is to short to be unhappy.
