Hokay so.... there’s this girl that quite frankly, I believe I love. Can’t stop thinking about her and she is, at this time in my life, one of the few things that can actually make me smile. I am a sophomore in high school and she is a junior. At the beginning of the school year, I had known her for a year and I liked her during the previous year but I made no attempt to get closer. This year that has changed and I am doing everything in my ability to get to the point where I can ask her out. after about three months of getting closer to her I asked my best friend (he had been friends with her since he was young) out of desperation, to call her up, ask if she thought I liked her and what she thought of me (he pretended he had no idea). She said she thought I did like her and that at that time she only liked me as a friend. Now, a month later, I have been talking to her pretty much every day. Both in person (on the bus everyday) and on aim. She has been opening up much more to me and every once in a while she will bring up the fact that she thinks that she is fat. Now, I know that this is a big load of bull so I always just explain to her why she isn't and I just try and comfort her. Recently on the bus she has seemed to become much more shy. I normally have to keep the conversation going, but recently it has been like pulling teeth, not to mention that I am shy on my own and find it extremely difficult to do it in the first place. When I get off the bus and I say bye, she says bye as well but on her face is a look of either disappointment or something else, I can’t tell. Keep in mind though; I have still been talking to her on aim with little difficulty pretty much every day. Now I have no idea what she feels about me. What’s going on in her? Now, I know that the only way for sure that I can find out would be to tell her what I feel about her. I am seriously contemplating doing this but I am worried that in the case that she does not feel the same way, our friendship will be ruined and that there will be no way to recover from it. Another small issue is that I’ve never hung out with her in a more social environment outside of school, with or without friends. What should I do here and would telling her what I feel about her possibly ruin the friendship?

1) when other people are around, and they're all included in the conversation, he'll say something funny, and look at only me
2) he always looks straight into my eyes when he speaks to me
3) he smiles and quickly puts his head down when we're walking towards eeach other and i say hello

Ewww....how should I get him back?
I'm 14.
He asked me to the dance last year and I said no. My mom wanted me to go out with him because his dad had recently died. But I said he was a jerk. My mom wouldnt believe me.

But now he sends me text messages like:
"I want to dual you."
"What are you doin this weekend."
"You have big boobs."
"Your hot and sexy."

I have classes with him. But...its not awkward. I'm used to it. But the texts are getting anoying. How do I get back at him??

At 25 I find myself diffrent from my mates. They are in long term relationships, some have married and so on. Those that haven't desperately wish for it.

Thay are all mature and no fun.

I want to buy a motorbike and live great adventures. Make no mistake, I am an independent and otherwise accomplished woman.

When I was a junior in college, my dad bought my oldest sister a car for her graduation. Then he said when I graduate he would buy me a car, too. So I graduated & I asked my dad when he was going to get me a car. He said that he never said that. His reason was that he got my sis a car bc she graduated 1st. (Stupid, huh?) Anyways I am now in college for the 1st year & still don't have a car. There are so many things that I'm missing out on to better my life due to lack of transportation.My boyfriend lives back home & doesn't know that I don't have a car because I always borrow my mom's car whenvever I'm down there and he thinks that it's mine. (My mom & dad are separated) The reason why I'm keeping it from him is bc it's sooo embarrassing to not have a car & you're in college. My mom doesn't have enough money to buy me one & I just always feel like when will it be my turn? I don't have enough money for college bc I can't find any scholarships & the FAFSA money wasn't enough. Please help

How is it that you can post a question and nobody answers the actual question? I try to be the nicest guy possible, even saving my virginity until marriage, and i try to find nice girls however they abandon me and go for guys that end up taking their virginity and abandon them. I told my daughter that when she turns 19, she is either required to move out of the house, or if she wants to live with me, she'll have to start paying rent. She seems to think life is so simple, as her best friend is a 26 year old girl who still lives at home!! Since when are 20 year olds still living with their parents?? I told my daughter that she better start looking for a place to live, or get a second job to pay the rent at my place because her 19th birthday is less than 30 days away.
How much should I have my daughter

Back in the day, my parents said the same thing to me, but I was out of the house on my 18th birthday so I never had to worry about paying rent. My siblings and friends on the other hand had to pay various amounts, depending on how much their parents mortgage was. I was thinking of charging her $200 a month for the first few months just to be nice. What do you think?

My girlfriend has some serious issues with alcohol. She used to come back to her dorm completely wasted about 3 times a week, vomiting everywhere, and then would black out. She wouldn't remember anything the next morning.

She recently has admitted that she has a problem. I think this is a good first step.

However,

Although she has been trying to quit, last night she had a few shots with some friends. Thankfully she was able to stop at 5, but I'm still not happy about it.

We've talked this morning and she apologized for a long time. I can tell she actually meant it and I know that she really does want to get control of this, but she's having a lot of trouble with it.

So my question is, what can I do to help her? What should I say to her or what should I do? I feel like I've tried so many things and now I'm running out of ideas on how to make this easier for her...

It's also worth mentioning that we got to different colleges and only see each other over breaks.

OK, Well my dad's girlfriend of 9 years has a daughter who is getting married in February. I guess that today she is supposed to ask me to be one of her bridesmaids, but I kinda feel out of place saying yes even though I have known her since I was 3 or 4. I feel out of place because I never really thought she liked me and I am not technically related to her.

And if I say yes, How do I say so that she thinks that I am really glad and excited? (Don't get me wrong, I am so happy and thrilled to be in her wedding, I am just really nervous so I need back-up.)

She works at a grocery store and her shifts typically end around 11pm. Lately shes been coming home at around 1 or 2 saying that she has to stay later to restock and do inventory. I drove by the store last night to see if her car was there after 11 and it wasn't there. When I asked her about it she said that last night was the only night she didn't have to stay later, but decided to go to a friends house for a beer afterwards. I asked her what friend. She said her friend Meghan.
So today, I thought I would call up Meghan's husband who is my friend too, and ask him if he wants to come over and to bring Meghan and watch the game. He said ok.
So when my wife asked who I called, I said I called up Jim and Meghan and they're coming over tonight to watch the game. I told her I know you just saw her yesterday, but I thought it would be nice to all hang out. She turned red and looked like she was guilty of something. My guess is that she is cheating on me with Jim. Do you agree?

Im kinda shy and don't really talk to boys that often. Last week my crush started talking to me online through bebo), we had never really talked to each other before. We had quite a good convo on line and he said he thought I was pretty and put xoxo when he had to go. The next day at school I wanted to talk to him again because I felt we had built a bit of a friendship. That didn't really happen though, every time we caught each other's eye we would look away right away, or else we would ignore each other altogether. By the end of the week I was trying smile at him as I walked by but it seemed so awkward. I find it weird because he is very popular and has had a few girlfriends, and he doesn't really strike me as a shy person......It's as though he's not interested in me anymore.
