Over the last year or so my Mum has turned really nasty. She's always been known to speak her mind but recently she's just turned down right offensive. Like if I go over for a cuppa at their house and I'm talking with them she tells me to shut up because I'm boring her. In fact she's said that twice in the last 24 hrs.
My Dad made me promise not to react to it as if I do and cause an argument, she carries on the argument with him when I go home and he gets a right ear bashing from her.
Even though I don't live with them I feel so trapped not being able to tell her to stop being rude. IS their anything I can do?

He acts usually like he does not give me any choices. If I say NO he looks at me like I did a really terrable thing....I feel like his child or so. Whatever he thinks is good and the only one. He gives many arguments to support his choice and reject my choice. If I do not agree he stops talking to me. He says or "this" or "nothing". Mostly we have money issue. In general, he is a nice person. I just got married with a hope of building a nice happy family and I really do not think about a devorce right now. I want to try to fix this situation.

Today I was doing stuff for her to get the computer to work for 2+ hours(without her ever saying thank you). And then an hour later she asks me what I've done for homework and I did a reasonable amount for that amount of time, but then she yells at me and takes away my cell phone, almost even throwing my cell phone and said I can't go to something tomorrow. I feel like telling her "well I was doing stuff for you for 2+ hours!!". But I know she'll take away something else or ground me. I just can't take her being like this anymore.

I'm 25 and met this great guy, but he has major jealousy issues. I would never mess around don't even have desire for any other guy, he's all I want. I try to tell him, reasure him, everything. He'll do well for a short while then it just all goes to hell again. Any advise on how to help him with this problem? I know this can be a good sign of low selfestem/confidence. What shall I do?

I don't like discussing other men when we are together, it feels wrong, dirty and sinful. Am I just being a prude. He says it is disappointing that I don't want to please him. He also said that there is nothing wrong with it because it is all about me, he doesn't want me to be with anyone else and he doesn't want to be with anyone but me.
He already knows all about my past so it is nothing new. Plus I was 18 when I met and we got married years later. I don't have that many stories to share (about 5, and none of those are actually intercourse). He likes to hear the details. I am just wondering, if I give in, are we going to have to talk about these same 5 stories for another 50 years for him to get turned on. I am worried that he will get bored and he will want to take it further. As a Christian, I think this feels like I am bringing someone else into something that should be between he and I. This has just come up and we have been married 10 years so I am a taken aback. Advice?

Have you ever cheated, and had a "one night stand" with someone during your marriage??
If so, do you regret it??
(This question isn't directed toward those that may have had extended affairs, but just those who may have had a "one night stand" here or there along the way).

She calls me every day saying, "Steve, I love you." But I don't know, sometimes I just think she's lying. I mean, all I do is ball and write songs. I'm kind of a jerk to her and I don't really listen to her at all. Actually, I forgot her last name and everything. Maybe I'll write a song about her. Man, I need to play some ball! Do you think she's messing with me or what?

I see that love is just a bunch of drama. And I dont no why but I really dont feel the love in the relationships or the point in love. I actually feel nothing inside of my self

the things I beleive are

1. Live only for yourself b/c only you can help yourself succeed, everyone else just gets you so far.
2. Do wat you want to when you want to no matter wat
3. fear nothing, even if there are some fears
4. Care only for youself, and act on your emotions
5. everything dies eventually. so live life to the fullest

I been thinking alot and the loneliness inside is affecting my life, at school, and at home, I've been thinking alot about joining the army in the assasination group or something with 'assasination in the name, b/c I feel nothing and I enjoy seeing ppl in pain (though no too much pain)

yea, I no Im crazy.

he either calls like 4 times a day or nothing. Today he didn't have his kids and did I get a call? Nope and I REFUSE to call him. I'm tired of it already and I wrote him an email pretty much saying I need more but would love to remain friends. Why do men do that? Is it a control thing? I've expressed to him many times I need to see him more than every two weeks and now he has some time and he ignores me. I'm pretty prideful so in my opinion I feel like I'm done and I don't want to answer his calls if he does, is that wrong?

I just got back from a weekend at a college where i interviewed for a full scholarship. I begged to go by myself as my mom is so overprotective and leechy. She got mad and finally said she wouldnt go. (this isnt the first time ive had to cut the umbilical cord and make her mad) I am leaving in the fall for college and i want some independence. I get back and come over to my mom's to appease her and the first words out of her mouth are "So tell me everything about it" and i told her i didnt want to. This same instance has happened about multiple events in the past. So now she is mad and wont talk to me. I just want something of my own that i can have for myself. I worked hard to earn a spot for this scholarship and i know the money pertains to her, but i can handle it. I have enough to get a full ride even if i dont get this. Am i so wrong to want independence? I hate it when she gets mad like this.

She keeps phoning and emailing trying to talk to him. She even phoned my answering machine once! She left me a message saying she had sex with him when he visited her and the kids last month, but I know he didn't. He moved to Canada two years ago, and he's only seen her a few times since then. Someone told her about us. She keeps emailing and saying that she must talk to him. I can't stand it - she wants to ask him why he lied to her and didn't tell her about me. It's harrassment, stalking, isn't it? I'm so scared she might come round to our house, or phone me again. They've got five kids together, and he doesn't pay any money to her but he does pay a mortgage on a house. He was trying to sell it - but then she moved back in and the realtor told her she had a right to stay. What can we do to stop his wife getting in the way? They are still married, but I know he's filed divorce. He hasn't told her he filed so she'll just get the papers soon. Why should he support her now?
