he either calls like 4 times a day or nothing. Today he didn't have his kids and did I get a call? Nope and I REFUSE to call him. I'm tired of it already and I wrote him an email pretty much saying I need more but would love to remain friends. Why do men do that? Is it a control thing? I've expressed to him many times I need to see him more than every two weeks and now he has some time and he ignores me. I'm pretty prideful so in my opinion I feel like I'm done and I don't want to answer his calls if he does, is that wrong?

Why do you want to remain friends then? He isn't meeting your needs. You have made it clear to him what you need and what you expect. He isn't giving it to you.
Sounds like you have been inconsistent. you get angry, tell him how you feel. He says or does something and you cave. Why should he change? He knows you will come around. All he has to do is listen to a little **** and everything will be alright.
Do you have any idea why his wife dumped him? I'm sure he told you it was all her fault. Maybe this is a hint about his behavior.

Did you ever think that maybe the way you came to him made you seem needy and possessive?? if i were you i would do a lot of self evaluating. When people say they are prideful...it's just a way for them to admit with out admitting they are selfish and self centered...be careful with an attitude like that...you may never be able to hold on to a guy. The best thing to to would be to call him and apologize for your rash and childish behavior and ask him where he is coming from when it comes tom his actions. good luck

he doesn't want a commitment right now and he's probably seeing other women. Sounds to me like he has his own activities planned out, and when he calls you it's for his own convenience and not yours. Is this a physical relationship? If so, and he's not spending more time with you, then you might think twice, he may only be interested in you for that.

No, it's not wrong. The guy wants you to be after him.He likes to use as a spare tyre.In other words, he wants you when no one is available for his pleasure..please mainatain your dignity as a female with self dignity and pride. He isn't the only one left in this world to be after him.
Let him get lost....forget him completely.Ignore him from now on please....

God Bless
