It sounds like another chance is not what he wants to give you. And its time to face reality and realize that at this point in time its not going to work, and you need to move on with your life and find someone new. Love shouldnt be that much work, you shouldnt have to convince anyone to be with you, its not fair to you.

Tell him something he hasn't heard before. This will indicate something has changed. If you can't do this then nothing HAS changed.
