In simple English, it's like saying "Go be retarded!" Because mental and retarded people take the short bus. Mainly because the busses to mental hospitals aren't big or long, they're SHORT.

i'm being literal about this. when someone says this it means you're a "retard" or "slow" or act like someone who has "downsyndrom". the short buses are usually for them.
