Easy tips:
-be good at home
-do your homework
-don't let you grades be horrible. pass everything with at least A or B [parents always associate bad grades to bad relationships]
-don't get into trouble at school
-be nice
-help out
-always carry around a positive attitude
Once your parents take the hint that this boy is making you into a better person, then it should reflect on your attitude towards them. Remain strong.
However, you mentioned that you and your boy have been having some bad arguments recently. That may be a huge factor as to why your parents don't want him for you. When it all comes down to it, ask yourself if his good qualities outweigh his bad qualities and then you decide.

I think that is so cool. My niece has a friend that didn't make it into any of the schools she wanted to attend so she took the year in between hs and college and got a job with Cirque De Soleil - I have no idea what the qualifications are but other than some dance I'm not sure she had any - but maybe your parents would approve of a gap year - more and more kids are doing it. There are also circus summer camps for teenagers so maybe you could sort of fulfill your dream by trying that to see what you really think about it. I have another friend whose son joined the ballet instead of going to college but he told his parents that he would take classes towards a degree and he has. So I think there are ways around this and you have 3 years to work on them. Follow your dreams while you're young because you will lose hope once your older and you have a mortgage and children.

:You have to be more specific it is a difficult question to answer without knowing your age for instance or general age group. Any why don't your parents like him anymore, did he hurt you, parents are protective of their children...not enough info.

Let him knock you up, that will show them!
