how do i get respect without seeming mean or demanding. like there is no nice way of saying shut up which is equivalent to saying, "you know what!? i dont like that very much.."

I am a single 24yo living in a pretty small town (approx 630 people). I know a lot of people have had success with the whole internet dating stuff, but my question is this: what is my chances of talking someone I meet online into moving to a small a$$ town? Would I just be better off driving a few hours to a bigger town? Wondering what the average female mind would think!

ive been thinking about the possibility that i may never ever get a woman to like me, even as a friend (i dont have any friends either). I know people are bound to say just wait the right girl will come, but im tired of just waiting, i want to take action cuz i feel if i just wait my whole life i might spend my whole life doing just that. and dont get me wrong i dont even care about sex at this point i just want to have someone actually care about me. i go everyday and i make no progress and im at a major college. 9please dont say i should worry about my grades because that is my primary worry i study a lot)

My husband and I are pinching pennies. I was raised by a single mother and have had financial rough times myself. My husband comes from a more of a shelter home life. Because he is a financial specialist I let him handle the bills. I told me that we were about $800 short. I made the comment, "Oh, no..so we're broke." told him I loved him and got into the car jamming to my music and went to work. He says that he was in a bad mood all day because of what I said and that its all my fault. That comments like that makes him feel like I'm not happy in the marriage. I told him that he complains all the time and its okay, but when I do it lightning has struck. He also had asked me if he could buy a stationary bike. I said no because our money should go other places. He hissed and later told me that fine because he just told his parents to buy it for him for his birthday. Help!!! what do you think? Am I wrong and crazy?Your opinion is needed please!!!

So I first saw this girl around 2 months ago and I just started crushing on her for no reason ,she's not even that of an attractive girl, just average pretty face and i think its her smile that got me. So I feel like i need to know her... And ever since I've been debating with myself whether or not to talk 2 her. I would see her only a few times per week for a short moment. we've also made some eye contact but its most likely only because we recognize each other from our only class together. So getting to my question, would it be weird if after all this time of not exchanging any words I suddenly just talk to her?

On a side note she does wear a single ring and its on her ring finger so I'm a bit skeptical if she is taken or not.

I met this guy at my best friend’s party and we really hit it off. Two days later, me, my best friend, him, and a guy friend went out but we had to cut it short. We’ve been talking for a while and he told me that he likes me and I admitted I do to. The problem is, he lives kinda far, we go to different schools, and we just met. But we really like each other. But I heard long distance things don’t really work. Should I even continue what happening then?

My boyfriend and I got into this terrible fight last week. He doesn't like the fact that i have guy friends, which is the stupidest thing i've herd. Out of nowhere he called me a '****** whore.' I got really mad and said some things I probaly shouldn't have said, i know i humiliated him bad. Anyways the problem is that he got mad and he actually slaped me across the face. Me being the girl i am hit him with my palm straight into his nose and walked out. i think i left him shocked.

Anyways i didn't talk to him this entire week and he's been leaving me messages in my phone saying how sorry he was, and how he deserved me brusing his nose (I do agree with him on that one.)

I don't know what to do. He's never been a violent person and i think the only reason he got mad was becaus he thinks one of my friend like me as more than a friend.

What should i do i can't avoid him for ever, but i don't really think i can get back together with him.?

Dating... You get treated by the guy spending money on you... and the end result usually ends with, you wanna come in for a drink by the women. Isn't it the same... he spends money on you for probabilty of sex... I would say, give me the money and I'll jus sleep with you.lol

I'll never understand why I see the best men fall for/marry the most controlling women. Or, I should take that back, the y don't really become controlling until after marriage. Why is that? Is it because I've never been married that I can see how they behave?

One of my girlfriends suggested to another married girlfriend of ours to "make him a list, so that way he knows what he needs to do.." I wanted to punch her in the face.

I have become friends with a married man who's wife is like this. He is scared she will take everything from him if he leaves, but he is so unhappy. She treats him like a child, and yells constantly.

How can I help him find a way from this craziness?

I'm 18 and have recently become really great friends with a guy from school. It's so easy to talk to him and we always get along. Recently I have developed deeper feelings for him but I am afraid he doesn't feel the same way. When me and my girl started living together, within a month I expressed my freedom. Within the next few weeks she felt free as well. It's funny between us but we don't do it in public.

Does anybody do the pull the finger thing with the grandkids. When our little grandkid was two and a half we got him to do it to his mother and I practically wet myself laughing. Aren't farts humorous in certain situations?

my dad sucks.
ok so i wanted to stay after school to get extra credit on this english thing. what we had to do was go watch a movie after school and answer some questions about it.
but when me and my friends has already been in line for 15mins to the classroom they told us it was full and we'd have to leave
i didnt wanna tell my dad cuz i thought he'd get mad so i waited awhile before i called him
sso when he came to pick me up my friend asked " does he want to see the note" (it was a note the english teacher wrote explaining our situation) and my dad got all pissed and said that i was staying after school doing drugs and having sex and because my friend asked him is he wanted to see it he said thast i was going around telling all my friends how horrible he is

he accuses me of evey little thing!!!! like he thinks he knows whats going on with me when thts not it at all!! i try to tell him that but he just yells at me more

what should i do?

ok so my friend lets call her annie complains at least 22/7. she complains about how tired she is, about how she lost her favorite earrings, about how fat she is (she weighs 110 lbs., max), about how im taller than she is, about how mean her mom is, about how late she stayed up, about how mean so and so is being to her, and on and on and on. Its like, do you realize how dumb that sounds?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!? so now she is doing ski racing at my school and she has dryland practice. she also did skiing last year. she complains about how far she had to run and how many situps she had to do and she will literally tell everyone she meets how grueling the workout was. she did skiing last year too. i feel like telling her "if its so grueling and difficult, why are you doing it again?" i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and if you found a good way to resolve it without major hurtage.

ps. it kinda sounded like i was complaining this whole time didn't it?
