ok so my friend lets call her annie complains at least 22/7. she complains about how tired she is, about how she lost her favorite earrings, about how fat she is (she weighs 110 lbs., max), about how im taller than she is, about how mean her mom is, about how late she stayed up, about how mean so and so is being to her, and on and on and on. Its like, do you realize how dumb that sounds?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!? so now she is doing ski racing at my school and she has dryland practice. she also did skiing last year. she complains about how far she had to run and how many situps she had to do and she will literally tell everyone she meets how grueling the workout was. she did skiing last year too. i feel like telling her "if its so grueling and difficult, why are you doing it again?" i was wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and if you found a good way to resolve it without major hurtage.

ps. it kinda sounded like i was complaining this whole time didn't it?

pps. thanks

Hi look some ppl are just downright negative in all aspects of their sad existence or so it may seem.(Usually caused from being bullied or constantly put down by negative parents etc)
You are very patient to put up with this or should I say till now..LOL
Please take this friend aside and just say "Do u really hate life so much as this?" Coz all you seem to do is find fault with everything and everybody. and bleat like a sheep, and does she know how draining this has become??

She suffers from low self-esteem, maybe when and if you tell her she might just pull her socks up (so to speak)
Ask her to find the positive side of life and her activities and then she will improve BUT only he she wants too that is..good luck ♥

speak up and honestly challenge her or find a friend you like and enjoy - UNLESS you secretly enjoy being her SPECIAL crying towel
If 'hurtage' is the problem, just leave it as it is (and go on being HURT your self). Her feelings are way more important than your feelings -- right?
