I have an 8 month old son and my husband deployed just 2 weeks before he was born. My husband's already come home on his 2 week leave- he came home in May when our son was just 2 months old. He comes back for good in April, and our child will be 14 months by then. We have web cams and I have my husband talk to our son all the time on the phone, but we both feel so helpless in this situation because the two have no real relationship. I'm wondering what I can do to foster healthy bonding when my husband does come home. My son is very clingy to me and I'm scared that at 14 months old, he's going to see his own father as a threat to him and his mommy's relationship. We don't know what to do! HELP! thanks guys : )

Let me make this simple. We have been fighting a lot lately, and he checks his balls at the door when his mom visits. He does not defend me against her tirades, does whatever she says, and I told him he needed to grow balls and he threw me across the room. I am rehabilitating from a stroke and lost my balance, which caused slight injury. This was sort of a crescendo...
The only reasons to stay are:

I am self employed and rely on him for medical insurance. I recently had a stroke and require medical insurance (I am in the USA)

We have two teens who are almost done with high school. 3.5 years and the youngest is done.

I have two dogs, and it would be difficult to find a home where I could keep them if I left.

Also, if I choose to stay, is just meeting an ex and flirting an affair?

my husband is 26 and im 24...we got married last sept, i had decided to move away from ny and my family to his condo, which was difficult because my mother is really ill, and the commute to school in the city is so time consuming....the past couple of months were filled with aguments and fights over chores, and over him feeling like i dont do enough to show my love for him (e/t i really try, and just dont have enough time for ething with school)...a couple of times the argu. got really bad, but resolved...two weeks ago we argued again, and i said extrem hurtful things (like me finding s/one new) in anger...he packed up a bunch of stuff and left ..i havent heard from him in over two weeks, e/t i tried to contact him with extremely loving emails,telling him id work harder, i have gotten no response, im still in our place.hoplessly sad that he hasnt called..what do i do?

With normal girls it's ok they are very easy to talk to. But when I go up to a girl I like the conversation is very short. I just introduce myself and ask her how she is doing and usually ask her a few things about her classes. Then the conversation just stops. What should I ask I can't just start asking her questions the whole time and if I bring up a topic she might not know about it and it will get more boring. How do I get over this problem and what do girls like guys to talk about?

My parents are most likely getting a divorce. My mom keeps saying over the year she is and I think its happening. She is never home anymore.. She doesnt care about my school work or anything. I got introuble she didnt even care. Its what 11:36 PM and I havent seen my mom since she dropped me off in the morning. I heard my dad saying she went to the lawyers today. I just feel so unhappy all of the time. I feel VERY unacomplished, and stupid!

Background information- I am 19....married for over a year....I graduated high school early at the age of 16 and feel proud of that, however I didnt do so well in college my first couple of years because I moved around and took it for granted. I am a sophmore standing, but taking a short break because I got a job offer as a mortgage loan officer/insurance agent, and I just feel so stupid because of this. I love school and everything, but I keep failing and can never decide on a major! I love real estate and that sort of thing, so thats why I took this job!
I am also very overweight. I am 5'2 and 165 pounds....I want to lose weight, but its so hard for me right now......Im just so sad, and I feel like everyone in my family thinks I am too! My hubby and I just bought our first brand new car and townhome, but I just cant enjoy them!
PLEASE HELP! I want to feel accomplished, motivated, and happy!

i have a wife that does not care about my appearace in my house and she ignore me and when i try to set with her in the room she leaves the room and when i leave the room she come back. In spite of negative assumptions is there a way i can attract her or make her love me, it seems that she has a psychological problem but she refuses to see a doctor. what can i do?

Okay, I have two best friends Ben (a boy) and Kendra (a girl), I made a new friend this year and her name is Delanie (a girl) and she is also friends with Kendra. Ben and Kendra don't mind eachother so we used to hang out together. Delanie, HATES Ben, and Kendra likes to hang out with Delanie more than she likes to hangout with Ben, so whenever I'm at lunch and Ben sits with me and Kendra and Delanie, Delanie moves, then of course Kendra moves, so I have to move or elso they get mad at me! but it's mostly all about his needs getting met. I am attractive, not overweight and I never thought my husband would act so disinterested in me. He treats me more like a sister nearly than his wife. He's not affectionate at all except for an occasional peck. No tenderness, no french kissing, and nothing sensual.
