It really does depend on the person. There are some men who never masturbate and some they do. some women who do it all the time. I haven't heard of any studies that say whether they are equal or if one sex does it more than the other, but I think it would be safe to assume that many (if not most) masturbate, male or female. I have no idea either, my dear, it could be just about anything, including physiological changes, increased stress, or a number of psychological factors that have either to do with your married life itself or feelings or values as to marrriage in general. My understanding is this: Many married women, not necessarily the majority of women, engage in masturbation with great frequency and regardless of the amount of their marital sexual relations but do some primarily because of an addiction to masturbation-related gadgets including vibrators, toys, and such. You don't have to follow the masses, so to speak. If you are happy with what you do or don't do; and nothing bad is happening to your health or to your sex drive in your eyes, I would just leave things alone and focus just on you and be less concerned with what other married ladies do. Remember, some of these other married ladies are not in your exact personal circumstances and are not necessarily at your level of maturity, so their outlook and what they do for themselves would not always work for you anyway.

It depends. If my hubby is out of town or I am just more frisky than normal, I will a couple times per week. There are often weeks that I don't at all because my hubby and I take care of each other quite often.

This has been a slow week. Only twice so far. We've had sex once. My goal is to O at least once a day(or more) either alone or with my husband. I love having one before I sleep, it's like a sleeping drug for me. :)
