If you have sex with someone outside your marriage, can you truly say you love your spouse? Does it mean you aren't really in love with your spouse if you're capable of having meaningless sex with another person?

Some people do have meaningless sex, in and out of marriage. That does not make it right. If you are married, stay faithful. If you don't want to settle with one person, do not get married. btw I just heard some guy on the radio talking about stats showing married sex is better.

If you were in love with your spouse, you would not want to have sex with anyone else and cheating would not even be on your mind... You'll know what I mean when you fall in love.

Well it will ruin your marriage that is for sure, but i dont think you can really really love someone and then cheat on them, but i guess if there is something missing from your marriage then maybe it is possible to still love them and cheat. Either way it is very wrong to do that.

Yes, I am one of them. I am married to my husband going to7 years now and our love to each other is still strong. Our relationship had noth changed even I had one night sex session with his best friend. The sex was initiated and arranged by my husband as a gift for me on my 25th birthday because he knows I had fantasized him and I had had no sexual experienced with other guy.
Because my hubby is too thoughful and understanding for my urges, he requested his friend to make love to me. But I respect my hubby not to love his best friend but for sex only if given another chance by my hubby to allowed me.
His best friend had high respect to my hubby and me. He kept his promised to my hubby to be away from me after we had sex. He immigrated to another country and settled there.
