Well, my best friend of over 12 years doesn't like my boyfriend at all. He and I have been together about 3 and a half years and have just started having a long distance relationship so that I can go to school in a different state (my home state). We have financial problems and he has a lot of health issues. I love him so much but my best friend thinks he is not good enough for me and it has caused a riff between us because I want to stay with him. She feels he is controlling and doesn't love me in the "right" way. I don't see that at all. HELP!

My acquaintance is an engineering major who is graduating this fall. However he does not have alot of appealing physical traits. He is average height but not really tall, weights close to 330 - 350 pounds, no athletic ability, alot of people say he is very nerdy, he also told people he has never been on a date before even though he is 23 years old which I dont understand because alot of guys who was considered to be nerdy in high school get dates when they go to a big prestigious school where alot of girls become more attracted to smart guys.

I found out in March that my husband had an affair in 2005 and possibly fatherered a child (we have two children together). He went back to America to try to 'make things better for us' he told me he didn't speak to the female now but would let me know when he did to sort out this child business. I went 2 america with our children for a visit and found out he had been speaking 2 her throughout 2006 (and I don't know what else) plus she was calling his new phone so they had spoke since his return. Also he had texts and pictures from 2 other girls on his old phone (2006) suggesting they had met etc but i don't know for sure. I also found a phone bill and found out he had been on the phone for several hours with a female work colleague from 8 years ago, one call was 204 mins, this was just after he got back 2 america in September this year, after we cried together and he promised me he'd never hurt me again, would not lie or keep secrets again and would do anything for me. End it?

Okay i have a dilemma, i cant stop thinking about a guy at work. Hes been working here for over a year and a half and we work in different departments, so i only see him at lunchtime when he is usually surrounded by people from his dept so its difficult to get him alone. I got a colleague to ask him what he thought about me last christmas at his work party, he said he thought i was stunning but he didnt know me well enough. He then joined a committee i was on so we got to spend a bit of time together over a few months, but this is now over :(
I could wimp out and ask him out by email but obviously i dont want to risk my email being seen by the IT dept and get done for harrassment! What should i do??

I don't know about everyone else, but I live in NYC and just about every place of employment (mostly office buildings and dept. Stores), women come in wearing stuff that is either too revealing or too tight/form fitting. You don't have to wear a miniskirt with hooker boots, it could be a normal blouse with "cameltoe" business pants and that's enough for distraction.

I was recently at job orientation and the female trainer who was speaking to the class about how wearing tight fitting attire is inappropriate yet here she is wearing a black blouse tight enough for her boobs to be defined and super tight black business pants that outline her thighs, labia and rear-end. Lol

Dept stores are the craziest, take bloomingdales (which I used to work at) and macys. Its like they dress in professional attire but they dress themselves in a way that the skin is covered but the "goodies" are still noticable and stick out underneath. Walk down the cosmetics/fragrance section in either store and trust me u will not care about what product they're selling. Either the person who hired them was a male or female pervert. "Wanna do sales? You got boobs and butt? You're hired!"

Even a professional blazer and knee level skirt could be manipulated here as long as the skirt is tight enough for the butt to stick out.

This is so ironic considering many women wonder why guys bother them saying disrespectful things when they're the ones showing themselves off and denying it.

Now I'm not saying I have a prob with working at a place where women dress sexy in a "non hooker way" (cuz that's what this is), but I just find it so weird that this goes overlooked where they work at. Why is this?

P.s. Don't mean to offend any women reading this but there is a lot of truth to this and I'm not saying that all women are like this, but a good number are.

My girlfirend just dumped me on Saturday and said that she can't see us as being anything more that just friends. I was very upset when she dumped because I loved her very much and I can see myself with her and I have gotten to the point where I love her so much I want to be with her forever. I want to get back together with her but if I ask to get back together with her she is going to say that we can only be friends. How can I change her mind? Thanks for the responses.

I fear my girlferind has BPD, from the years I have known her, well, the relationship started off as a freindship fling that led to another type, but it seemed to had started the first step she put in my house. But now, we have kids, oldest at 6, this relationship is a more consecuence type rather than by choice. Since then its liek, It is a struggle for me to get out of the house to go anywhere, if iwant to get out with my daughters I have to bassically have a good reason for it, its almost as if i have to take my gfreind along all the time. SHe always seem throw munky wrenches into everything I want to do from going to have coffee to hanging out with my ferinds, she's obsessive, possesive, and I dont know what else. We get into arguments where she seems to have a lapse of amnesia, sh sometimes bursts into totally uncontroable rage when i tell her something that hits a nerve be it truth or what not, then trys to coaxe me to like hit her, its almost like she strives to fight with h

A couple of times in the heat of passion I've told my husband to f**k me and said graphic stuff that I want to do to him. It feels right when I'm saying it but the next day I'm mortified about it. I feel really dirty and unfeminine and I don't want my husband to think less of me because I wasn't acting like a lady. He's never said anything about it but I'm too embarrassed to bring it up. I know it isn't but I just feel like its really slutty to say graphic stuff like that to him. Sex was very taboo in my family.

Is there anything wrong with that or is it acceptable? Will he still see me as that sweet girl that he loves or will it change the way he thinks of me? I want to spice things up a bit but I hold back because I don't want to come off like a whore.

Is it slutty to say/do dirty things like that?

My boyfriends family is all about documenting every moment. I have very low self esteem and hate having my picture taken. In the past I have tried to be a sport but I can no longer mentally handle it. I am not photogenic and when I see myself on film or camera I get very depressed and upset because no matter how hard I try I am just butt ugly. How can I let them know I prefer not to be photographed? They are very annoying and persistent and have not acknowledged my feelings on the matter.

I'm getting married in Dec. and just last week my hotel reception venue pulled out on me, stating they had construction planned. Wouldn't they have known this months ago? Now, I have 3 options:

1. Get my money back. Great. Then, where do I have my wedding reception? It's less than 2 mths away and I have no venue!
2. Go with their 1st option: a huge, empty convention center where they hold college graduations. My reception will be 100 people max and I do not have the budget to properly decorate a convention center!
3. Go with their 2nd option: a beautiful EXPENSIVE hotel terrace in downtown with all the bells and whistles. They are transferring my deposit and my blocked rooms, but that's it! The menu is $12 more per person, parking is NOT free, and the DJ equipment is not included. Thus, I end up paying a minimum of $1,500 more than I budgeted!

Not to mention the invitations have already gone out w/the original hotel info! They have yet to talk compesation for that! I am so mad!

I love my husband and our kids and our family has been great for a long time. All of a sudden he started finding fault with it seems like everything i say or do and its really painful to be in a catch 22. I feel like I have done everything but bend over backwards to make it better but I just don't see the fault in myself as much as he seems to. It seems like he never misses a chance to take a stab at me ya know? No there is no physical abuse but I think it can hurt just the same. It just makes me wonder because he is so unhappy if he is staying because of the kids. We still have sex but the sex has always been great no matter what.

I got married in september. My maid of honour was less than helpful during the planning but we had fun anyway. She never showed up as promised to my gift opening thus never gave me a present. Not even a card. I have seen her twice since my honeymoon but she has made no mention of a gift - but she has talked about how much she indulged in the open bar etc... I do not know how to mention that I feel a little sad that she has not even given us a card.
One more thing that I am upset about is that she had previously alluded to a breadmaker. Our Emcee had purchased one for us long before the big day but returned it when he saw that it had been duplicated on the registry. He spent the day before our wedding searching for another gift - we really love to make bread and he is a pretty thoughtful guy. We have not received a breadmaker and wonder why my MOH is doing this?
what should I do?
