My acquaintance is an engineering major who is graduating this fall. However he does not have alot of appealing physical traits. He is average height but not really tall, weights close to 330 - 350 pounds, no athletic ability, alot of people say he is very nerdy, he also told people he has never been on a date before even though he is 23 years old which I dont understand because alot of guys who was considered to be nerdy in high school get dates when they go to a big prestigious school where alot of girls become more attracted to smart guys.

To be honest, I might just date him, if he and I were able to connect really well! I think every body deserves a chance in the world of relationships!!! You should see the movie "Shallow Hal". It has very much to do with this subject.

If he lost some weight, he'd immediately attract girls. They don't want someone who seems lazy - even if he really isn't. Tell him to exercise more - at his age, he'll lose weight quick, and then girls will find him appealing.

Well i would as Long as he has a great personality and is very kind and well mannered. ALTHOUGH you have to except him for this because if you even get upset about his looks it might upset you and start changing your mind on him

Remember, if you date a good looking, non-nerdy guy and wind up marrying him................... he could become overweight and become nerdy.
