Background:

Found out wife was cheating. Big argument and, as she states in the following blog I threw a vase of flowers I bought for her in the floor. Her father called and left a threatening message on my voicemail same night she left, I called police and reported it. My girlfriend has been married for 5 years and with her husband for 8. they have a little girl and another one on the way. Almost 2 years ago he cheated on her (while she was pregnant with their daughter). It was a really ugly situation. He would stay gone for days at a time, fight his pregnant wife to get out the house to go see this chick. the chick even tried to have my friend arrested and filed for a stay away order against her.

He straightened up earlier this year (i think it was because my friend had finally moved out on her own and was even dating this fione azz dude etc) so once he started weraing his good husband hat, she took him back and things have been pretty cool between the 2 of them.

My friend started a bookclub for women awhile ago and she made some post about it on a few online sites. So about 2 weeks ago, she got an email from the chick her husband cheated with.

My boyfriend wants me to marry him but I do not feel like he is sexually attracted to me, he complains and turns me away if I want to have sex with him. I have been dating my current BF for 7 months now. But I can't help but feel that he doesn't really care about me, for example he knows that I am terribly allergic to smoke and have awful reactions yet he doesn't make a comitment to smoking out side or trying to quit. He actually get's offended when I ask him to not smoke around me and he tells me I need to "get used" to the smoke. It's impossible. Any suggestions?

(8th grade)there are two guys I really like, D & N (initials). I've liked N for abour 4 yrs, we went out once (failed) & now he has a major chrush on my bff. I get this so often...
Women will straight out TELL me they are jealous, or they will do something that sends this message loud and clear. Well, i HEAR YOU, alright?!

Not ALL women are like this. Just ...a lot. And it's not ONLY about my looks, it's about my talents or gifts or professionalism. It's getting to the point where it's interfering with where I want to go in life, meaning it's overwhelming at times, meaning that I can't make any female friends because they're all too insecure with themselves to be able to have a reasonable conversation or go out shopping without some comment or sense that they feel threatened by my ...what...petite, toned body, natural blonde hair, clear skin, degree in counselling psych? How does one DEAL with this crap? Any ideas?

hi all. now this is a sensitive subject for me and id appreciate only sincere answers, no harsh replies etc. in 2000 i was raped by a guy i met in a club after flirting with him and accepting a couple of drinks i willingly went for a walk with him. now i know i brought it on myself and all that. now when i met my current partner i told him what had happened - the first person ive ever told - he didnt take it too well, in fact he walked away and left me sobbing all night making me regret ever telling him. i cant forgive him for that. but i really need to talk about it from time to time. i just cant talk to him about it though- i can tell he wants to change the subject or just wants to gloss over what ive said. i get the distinct impression he blames me for it. how can i tell him i need to talk about how im feeling (it stil feels as though it happened yesterday even though its some years ago)? if someone thinks i need professional help then its out the question as im very very shy

A friend has been hit by her usually gentle, but recently very stressed husband in a moment of madness on his part. This has never happened before, although he was very verbal abusive b4 They have 2 young children who unfortunately saw whole thing. She threw him out but the kids are desperate for their dad to stay. The whole family have been under a lot of stress lately and things have become strained. He is horrified at his actions and promises to change, get counselling, anger management etc. What do I tell her? Do people really ever change as a result of these things? should she take him back if he gets help for his anger or is that telling him that violence is acceptable? I would be interested to hear what people think on this. In typical style her husband has an anger problem because his dad lost it good style and beat him when he was small, not that that excuses it, but she is worried about what seeing this will do to her own kids and what messages she sends out 2 them either way

me and my girlfriend have been going through some very rough patches lately (she lied a lot and lost my trust) so i decided to break it off with her. when i was she came out with something that shocked me. she told me 5 months ago she had a miscarriage. i was stunned. she told me that she had a miscarriage 3 weeks into her pregnancy. we didnt break up.

some close friends have told me that she makes up a lot of stuff. im starting to believe them.

she seems to play the sympathy card a lot and my parents have even commented on how she says funny things to try and get me more protective over her.

the thing thats bugging me is. she never mentioned it. never had "pains" or any symptoms and it was 3 weeks into it.

wouldn't a 3 week miscarriage be nothing but a blob of blood...an off period?...so i've been told.

i have a feeling that she lied to me so we wouldn't break up.

I found out my wife cheated on me. When I confronted her about it, I gave her no room to deny it, I asked "Who's ?" When I turned and looked at her, she had a guilty/remorseful/oh crap look on her face. There was an argument when I told her 4 or 5 times to get out of my house (house I purchased prior to getting married to her) and out of frustration and feeling she didn't deserve them, I broke a vase of flowers I gave her for her birthday, 2 days earlier. Her father calls and threatens me on voice mail. I call police and they come to house. I give my report and she and her parents show up and she tells police I threw the vase at her, and I get arrested and spend the night in jail. Now I have to hire an atty, and fight the false alligations, and I see an indirect blog of hers admitting to cheating and how sorry she is for everything. What should I do? Yea or ney?

Alright so I'm really into this guy, and I know he's sorta into me too but I think he plays hard to get.
