I NEVER HAVE.

This latest time is based on a cell phone record that is faulty.

I sat next to her and had her call me. It did not log the history properly. She saw with her own eyes and refuses to accept what she sees.

What do I do now? How can I talk sense into her?

How was the trust lost?

Does she have a low self esteem? If this is the case then this is the issue you guys need to work on.

There is another real reason as to why she keeps accusing you, whether it be her or you. Obviously you need to get it sorted, but you can only do that when you sit together and talk about what the real issue is. Why does she keep trying to accuse you? Is she trying to set herself up for failure by pushing you away as she has one in other things in her life? Good luck.

My theory is people who accuse their spouse of cheating in that way are mentally ill. My wife has done that many times over the years (I have never cheated). What's worse is she'll say she remembers one night like 2 years ago when she could smell another woman on me, yet she didn't mention it at the time so I have no way to disprove it.

I think her mother did the same thing to her father so it may even be hereditary.

I've always found that the people that do the most accusing are the ones with the most to hide. My ex used to constantly accuse me of cheating (and I NEVER did) and it turns out he was the one that was doing it. I'd be checking her cell phone if I were you. She's pointing a finger at you but she's got 3 pointing back at herself.

Now you take the offensive.

"If I am cheating, then YOU PROVE IT! Go hire the private investigator to shadow my every step, taking hundreds of boring pictures of me working, eating at McDonald's, riding the bus.

"And after you waste all that money, unable to find a 'phantom lover' that isn't there, do the same thing with another PI, who will give the SAME ANSWER!

"You cannot find that which is not there!"

(My wife did the same thing to me and I gave her pretty close to this lecture.)

there must be another reason that she suspects you like a behavior or attitude that makes you look like a player.

You cannot change her opinions or suspicions. What you need to decide is are you going to put up with this, or move on.

Good luck.
