So there's this kind of funny, attractive guy in my english class named Dan. I always feel like he's staring at me. I'm very quiet, and he's outgoing. Opposites attract I guess? Anyways, he was bragging to me asking what a 14/14 means, and winked at me and smiled. He always asks me for paper and what not, problem is i'm too shy? How can I heat this up? And is shyness weakness to men?

Men, think about all of the women from your past and in your present. If you were going to list the qualities you most require in one woman, what would they be? For example, I have a list of characteristics I would need in a man. I'd really like to see from a male perspective what the qualities and personality traits you require. Feel free to be as detailed as you care to be! Thank-you!!

Do people still wait to have sex until they are married? My views were like that.... but changed. I think society makes it alright to have sex, or make it seem like its alright to have sex. Whether it is, or not.

One of my best good guy friends has been avoiding me lately, and he won't talk to me about it.

He's been acting so strange for about 2 weeks now, whenever we would pass in the hall, wed give each other a high five (yes, people still do that), but now, he just keeps on walkin, and he used to wait for me everymorning so we could walk to class together, now, he has new people he walks with, and just leaves me there. He also used to walk me to lunch, and we would eat together, but now, he has his new people that he eats with, and im alone

I confronted him about this yesterday, because im not going to lose a good friend over unknown reasons, So, I tried to talk to him, i was like, what been up with you lately, your pulling away from us, and he just said LEAVE, just get out of my face, and he walked away, so, i followed and tried to get him to talk to me one more time, I didn't want to pester him, so when he told me to leave a second time, so I did

My sister is 15 years old. She parties alot and comes in really late, she curses way too much, she disrespects my parents and curses them out and tells them horrible things, she beats me (her older sis but we're the same size, I just hate fighting), she pushes my mom around, she once tried to stab my brother, we recently found pot in her things. But my mom has been so blind and just lets my sister brain wash her. That when anybody says something about her she gets mad and stands up for her. She says that we "treat her bad" and its why she has turn like this. My mom is so wrong b/c I've always try to be my sister's best friend and she pushes me away. She treats me like trash and takes advantage of me all the time, in front of my mom and my mom does nothing. I told mom she's gone over the limit and I quit. I'm too behind in my college classes trying to deal with all this. Sometimes I recent my mom, I want to move out! My sister ran away and my mom doesn't know what to do.

When was the last time you had sex before you got into this long distance relationship?

Are you hoping that all the waiting will be worth the wait?

Tell me where you are from and where your partner is from.

Thanks everyone!

I'm going to a big bash tonight, 50th b'day, and our friends have a band and will be playing there.

I just spent 2 hours getting ready! LOL

Hey it's a special night, but just wondered how much time you spend "getting ready" for a special night. Do you go through the major routine of pedicures, waxing, etc. etc. etc. or do you just throw the clothes on and walk out the door?

've been out on 3 dates with a guy. But between the 1st and 2nd, he stood me up, blaming that his phone got messed up. He asked me out again. Apart from the possible stood up situation, I had a really good feeling bout us. He looked at me and talked to me like he was interested. He asked me on a second date. And he suggested to meet again the week after. I asked him out for the third date. But something I don't like, is that he is very distant when we're texting. It can take him hours, sometimes a day, before he replies my text. And after a date, we don't stay in touch for days. It's like the only good connection we get is on dates. I hate this.

Our 3rd date was on last Friday. Yesterday (Wednesday) I still hadn't heard from him. So I texted and asked him out again. I kinda invited myself to a movie at his place. He said ok, then he doesn't answer my next text. Today I asked if something was wrong. He said he'd just been busy today, but wants to meet on sunday.
What's happening??

I haven't been to a wedding in ages. I avoid them at all costs. But, I can't avoid this one unfortunately b/c it is one of my closest friends.

Anyhow, it is out of town and I already bought a present from her registry. I just read somewhere that it is tacky to bring a present to the wedding/reception. Is that true?

I could have had it shipped but I didn't want to show up empty handed. Now I wish I would have had something shipped.

What do you guys think? Is it tacky to show up with a gift at a wedding reception?

He is totally irrational with me. If I don't answer my phone. He starts threating me with lawsuits and taking my kids away. I finally give in and inform him that I will not argue with him, and when he is rational, I will discuss the issues with him. He will turn around and call my mom and make up all sorts of things. I am 30 and he is 35. Does anyone else have this situtation? Even when I need simple answers about our kids. He will do this, it is soooooooo frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any suggestions would be great.

Is this really true? Are there somethings that people should go without telling someone?? Or is it always best to tell the truth? How about things that were in your past, maybe a certain lifestyle that you were living, but as long as you're not doing what you did before, is it okay if you just leave the details out of it if it's something that may hurt the one you love. I suppose it depends on what it is that you've done. Like about a year ago, I was an exotic dancer, and my bf had a hard time letting me do this, be we were living a bad life back then, now we go to church and all, but anyways I remember him not wanting to let me do it, bc he said people get carried away , and I was giving this guy a dance one time and he touched me "down there" I didn't stop him until he tried to go inside my pants...and now I think "What was I thinking?" This was a year ago..things have changed and we're living a much better life now than before.Should I tell him, or am I getting carried away??

Okay maybe we have lived a little, done a few things that we regret, but by no means are we damaged goods. I trust myself and reciporate those feelings to others. Unless, you just happen to be my ex-husband. Yeah, we have stayed friends, but I can honestly say, "Never Again!"
If anything those who have been through divorce should understand that itself is a trying experience.
I am not 20 anymore, but I am beautiful.
Guys and Girls do you feel that women in their 30's are just damaged goods?/?/?
Thoughts and Comments Please.......

What to do about my boyfriend and his issues????
We've been together for a while just about two years and we have had our ups and down but right now we have totally hit the bottom. Just in each others face 24- 7 and now we are at each other neck about everything. I think it's that we are in each other faces for so long cause we are both home together all the time except when he is at school. I feel like he has trust issues brought on from his previous relationship and he feels like he has to accuse me of cheating. I have a my space and a hi5 which is like my space I have male friends from school which i don't even communicate with they are just listed as my friends. He has my pass word for everything so i'm not hiding anything he just has issues. I can't go in to details it will take to long but everything I have done a women that was cheating wouldn't do she would just be playing herself. I have been very devoted to him his family and this relationship all out of love.

Teens are annoying, they complain and whine all the freaken time, teenagers are all about drama, they think they’re in love and make their boyfriend/girlfriend their whole life when its not worth it. They are all about partying outrageously, getting drunk, doing drugs, having sex, getting pregnant, getting STD’s, always backstabbing their friends, always want to be popular when nobody freaken cares, when a boyfriend breaks up with the girl, she cries in the corner and gets a razor to cut her throat oh boo hoo. They expect their parents to pay their cell phone bells, they always want to text message somebody as if it’s the most coolest thing in the world, always wondering how to get that popular girl or boy to like them instead of concentrating on work, has a heart attack in the middle of the mall because her mom refuses to by her a hoody from the “OMG Hollister” store. am I missing any please jot down more?

My husband has depression and refuses to accept it. He says I am wrong, that he doesnt have depression. But he is 56, is trying to work out of our home and keeps getting into deeper debt. He sits all day and reads news on the internet and watches TV. When he finally comes out of his office at 7-8pm, he goes right back in front of the TV and stays up till 1-2am. Then sleeps late and it starts all over. He doesn't do anything unless I push him. His office is a mess. He wont get a job outside of the house even though he is a brilliant attorney. He wont exercise. He takes a herbal anti-depressant, but refuses to go to the doctor and still insists he doesnt have depression. He is 56, has no retirement, no savings, no disability, no longterm care. Nothing. I work and have all this, and I own my own home which we live in. It was mine before we married so he has no financial security for the future. He wont go to counseling and the one time we did, he got furious after we left. Now what?????

Well, I REALLY like this athletic girl. But she has a boyfriend. And I told her I loved her during the Summer (Through myspace, yeah...call me a loser). She said that she would really like to be my friend though (Because I was practically a stranger). Now that school starts, she never really says hi to me, but she does look at me. She still has her BF and I really like her, what do I do.
