Do people still wait to have sex until they are married? My views were like that.... but changed. I think society makes it alright to have sex, or make it seem like its alright to have sex. Whether it is, or not.

My question wasn't whether if I should have sex or not... it was just a general discussion on waiting to have sex till married or before. I've already made the decision that I feel like needs to be made. It was just a general question though.

AND NOT EVERYONE GETS PREGNANT BY HAVING SEX! just an fyi. protection is the key.

I dont know, depends on the person I am with at the time of the crucial decison. I will wait if my partner wants to wait, if she doesnt want to, then we will have sex if she doesnt want to wait, but I'd be very careful to have condoms on standby and birth control ready, the last thing I want is a child for the time being.

I am. I trust society...not half as far as I could throw those anorexic girls who want to look like models. And not half as far as I could beat the mess out of all the wannabe "pimps" in my school. The fact is, society itself is a mess - I'll keep my values, thanks.

For me, the reason you wait for marriage, other than the obvious (no children without a father, no STDs, no getting dumped after he's use and abused you) is the same reason I waited for a good long while to kiss someone. Because you're giving a part of yourself, and it's just not smart to give it to every boy who runs into you. It's like any gift - give it once, to one person, it's special and sacred. To everyone, eh, then no one cares and you look like a suck-up.
