Interesting question. To go to bed with, usually, but to wake up with, more long term...lol. Waking up with someone is a good feeling I guess, but for me, the real thing is, just being with someone in the night...as opposed to laying there in your bed waking up in the middle of the night being cold and thinking about someone you used to be with or something...I'm a morning thunder lover anyways.

i'd say both. it's always nice to have that cute gal next to you in bed, and the fact that when you wake up the next morning she's there still looking cute with that drowsy look and "bed hair" is funny. not to mention that it's great that your bedsheets now smell substantially better :P.
and while there are times when you want someone to spend a few hour with and no more (i.e. the go to bed with type of gal), i think it would be weird to have someone to just wake up with... i mean can you imagine how weird it would be to come home really tired, get ready for bed, sleep well, and then wake up the next morning just to find a stranger in bed with you? (granted, it may be a hot looking stranger, but it's still a stranger :D)

To go to bed with, never the same person though (unless it's like four months apart), and never to wake up with so I don't end up having to knaw my arm off. Relationships are not for me obviously.
