1. knows how to genuinely forgive
2. knows how to genuinely say sorry
3. no shopping addict
4. knows how to communicate, rather than nag and get angry
5. appreciate romantic gestures
6. knows how to genuinely express thanks
7. not a food addict under stress
8. not a gossiper
9. hard worker, generous and supportive of husband
10. good, responsible, caring mom.
of course, as a husband, I would have to at least keep to the same standards.

50% less chatty. Since you're asking for the male perspective, I'll just say that us men folks, most of us, generally are happier with simplicity in most things. To go back to the "chatty" topic, lemme give you an example:
Husband "hey babe, where do you want to go to dinner?"
Chatty Wife" I dunno, what were you thinking?"
Husband"I asked you where do you want to go?"
Chatty Wife "what are you in the mood for"
Husband"Nevermind, let's grab something from the grocery store"
Now here's what the husband wants
Husband "hey babe, where do you want to go to dinner?"
Non-Chatty wife"I wish thinking someplace cheap like Denny's"
Husband"Cool, let's go"
We tend to understand simple and direct a lot more. Think of it as a game: respond to your man in the fewest amount of words or actions necessary.
If on the spur of the moment you and your man decide to go to the beach, don't make him wait 2 hours while you do your makeup and grab towels and make sandwiches and raingear and the billion other "just in case" stuff that you'll never use.
Think of adding salt to your meal as a metaphor. A little sprinkle makes your food better, yah? But dumping a cup of salt into your soup ruins the dish. It's the sense of restraint in all things that most men can enjoy. That, and lots of sex. Please no restraint when it comes to that!

i have only two, which in my 46yrs on this earth and with 2 ex wives and 1 annulment behind me along with numerous long-term relationships, i have NEVER encountered a woman who can accomplish even one let alone both of them. are they that hard to do or am i being too picky in my choices, are they too high to achieve, you decide for yourselves, here they are:
1) honesty
2) truthfulness.
and yes, they are different.
do they sound so hard to do...i really don't think so as i always gave both to every relationship i have ever had but never received it in return.
