Teens are annoying, they complain and whine all the freaken time, teenagers are all about drama, they think they’re in love and make their boyfriend/girlfriend their whole life when its not worth it. They are all about partying outrageously, getting drunk, doing drugs, having sex, getting pregnant, getting STD’s, always backstabbing their friends, always want to be popular when nobody freaken cares, when a boyfriend breaks up with the girl, she cries in the corner and gets a razor to cut her throat oh boo hoo. They expect their parents to pay their cell phone bells, they always want to text message somebody as if it’s the most coolest thing in the world, always wondering how to get that popular girl or boy to like them instead of concentrating on work, has a heart attack in the middle of the mall because her mom refuses to by her a hoody from the “OMG Hollister” store. am I missing any please jot down more?

Maybe a little of both. Both I wouldn't be so fast to group all teens in there.
A lot of what you mention though has a lot with the way the parents raise (or don't raise) them. Parents give a lot to their kids instead of making them earn things. What values does this teach?
When I was a teen, I hated drama in my life. I didn't have time for it (Still can't stand it). I didn't care about being popular. I had friends because I was a nice person. I didn't back stab and cut relations with those who did (or gave them hell for it)
Nor was I one of those who had to wear certain brands of clothing/shoes/etc.
I was working at 16 and paying much of my expenses, so ...
The whole love thing is fairly new to you at that stage so ... I'd say cut them some slack and offer up life experiences - I wouldn't try to live their life for them. Part of growing up is making mistakes.
It is also a time when hormones are running amok.

Personally, I think we aren’t that different, except for the work ethic. Back when we were teens we worked for what we wanted. If we didn’t have the money, sure we asked, but our parents held their ground and said you want it you work for it.
But I remember all the same stuff when I was a teen, of course we didn’t have many computers so no computer games, zero cell phones, just (is your finger broken) public phones.
I believe that parents turn their kids into whiners by giving everything to them…IS THAT PROGRESS?

I agree and disagree. I know there are teens out there that can be like that but once you get to know them, they seem pretty cool. I wasn't like this at all either. I kept quiet and cool to myself and I think people actually liked me like that because I was different. I think that's why I'm friends with "Popular kids", "nerds", "dorks", "average", "goths", whatever basically. The people I try to stay away from are the ones I know will cause useless drama that I don't need. Teens can be smart or dumb. Just like everyone else.

I have to say I agree with you. But not every teen is like that. I'm 17 and have NEVER smoked pot, had sex, been to a party, drank alcohol, used any type of drug, shopped at hollister, and I dont care whether I'm popular or not. I pay for my own car insurance, cell phone bills, and buy my own clothes. But yes, lots of teenagers fall under that stereotype.

I agree that most teens are just annoying among everything else you posted, but not all of them.I'm over 18 and I can't stand most teens or even kids but the fact is that we are all teens at some point in time.

Even though as you out grow high school and all the aspects of teenage life and move on to do bigger things.. would you ever trade your teenage years. Dont you remember how much fun you had? Also the type you described is very stereotypical. not all teenagers do that, but mostly they do. I would say your just out growing their way of life, but that doesnt mean you should hate them

The steroids and hormones found in junk food contributes to it,TV,Media,Schools promote the nonsense.I assume you're from America...Its not as bad in the caribbean where i live, but through Tv its getting worse. No values anymore...Its a generation bred to believe that if you act like a tramp or "gangsta" you'll get noticed.Life is comming like a bullet train to these kids, most fall in front of it.

As if you weren't just like that when you were a teen. They just need people to talk to and support them. Being a teen is extremely difficult. I know I wouldn't want to relive it!

thats just teenagers you cant stop what someone else does
and especially not a whole age group
most teenagers have somewhat changed and is still changing
you shouldnt complain about something your never going to stop
what is your question anyways?
this isnt the place for just complaining or ranting but teenagers who actully act like that are ****** up in the head
but they will learn in time

+No it is just not you, When I was a teenager I thought I knew everything. Now that I am much older the more realise that I knew nothing then. Don't worry every generation goes through this stage!
