I know someone that is seeing a married man that she knew in high school. 14 years later, he looks her up, contacts her even though he is married an has been for four years. he says he's not happy and he and his wife are not on the same page A LOT. he does everything he can for the "mistress." Always there for her in any way he can be. They have long daily conversations, and so forth and so on. But, he says he's not planning to leave his wife. What's his point?

Just wondering if I am the only one whose husband reverts back to a 'little boy' when he gets sick or hurt. You'd think he was dying, even from a common cold. It's like I have to turn into 'mommy' and wait on him hand and foot.

Also, when you are sick how does he treat you? Do you get pampered or does he expect you to go on with 'business as usual'?

I'm 25 and just got a divorce a month ago. We were married for 5 years. My ex-husband had a bad temper, couldn't hold down a job (he got into arguments with every boss he had) , we fought all the time, he was married twice before and just became unbearable to be with. He would snap in a second.

I'm happy to be free and to be able to find the right person for me. I want children some day with a man that share my goals and values in life. Will ever find him? I feel like nobody will want someone that is divorced--like I'm "damaged goods" or something.

I'm so lonely but feel like I should be alone for a while. How can I get over feeling like a failure and a loser? Do other people see me that way?

My moma passed away from stomach cancer in 2001, she was 42 and I was 24. I couldn't have asked for a better mom and best friend. I love her so much. Six years later I'm still breaking down every once in a while and crying myself to pieces. I have bad dreams that do not help either. I guess what I'm asking is will it ever get any easier? Is it still ok to cry?

I am really in love with a guy that is 45yrs old, I am 23yrs old, I knew him since I was 18, I met him through my ex husband Gary, his best friend, well was. My ex and I split up 2yrs ago we did because his best friend got between us and I fell madly in love with him, even though my ex was controlling and abusive and had to leave the marriage, we have a 3yr old son together. his best friend told me while I was married that he wanted me and that he loved me and I should have went with him instead of my ex, so since then my marriage went down the drain. Anyways, he told me that he still loved me and cared for me, we had sex and then a week later he dumped me, and made rude remarks to me about my body, he begain to through other women's names in my face to get me jelous I guess, I called him once a week to say hello to him, to see how he was doing, he then changed his number on me. I asked him why he did what he did to me, he said '' gary told me to stay away from you and Kyle.

Why do we women put so much time and effort into trying to turn the wrong man into the right man? Why do we associate sex with feelings, while men remain emotionally detached? Why do we enter into a relationship looking to find our husband while men look to find a sexual partner with occassional conversation?

I've been divorced from my ex-husband for a year already, I do have another boyfriend, and he is very, very, good to me, and my children. The thing is, I keep thinking about my ex. I know that I still love him, and I really miss him and the things we used to do as a family. It just didn't work out between us because he was too tight w/money, and he flirted too much in front of me, I can just imagine what he did behind my back. He was a touchy, touchy, huggy, huggy, person. And he flirted sooo much, he knew how uncomfortable that made me, however, he said that I knew how he was when we met.
We were together for 12 years, and we have 3 children together, please help, I get sooo confused, that I really do miss him, then he just really pisses me off sometimes!!
Please help!

I have a small problem with 2 girls..

The first one is very sexy, long soft hair, blue eyes, nice body, and very smart, she's among the best in my university, but she has a very slutty personality which I don't like.

The second one is much less attractive and less bright, she's a little cute but she's not sexy, she has the most beautiful nose and lips I've ever seen in my life, she wears glasses and has weird eye brows and her face is round. However, I'm totally into her personality.

Both of them have a crush on me, but I'm looking for a serious relationship so normally the second one is much more suitable, but something keeps me away from both if y'know what I mean...

my friend says that I'm greedy, but I'm not shallow either.

He lives with you and all, says he thinks its best you split, but when you ask him if he's sure this is what he wants he says he not sure, but for now he thinks its best? Obviously split, but, honestly, if YOU said this to someone that you say youre still in love with, what would you expect that person to do? How should I react, move on completely, or move on with expectations, that we may get back?

To make a long story short, I became homeless overnight after my husband left me. Something I said would never happen to me. I moved from place to place with strangers and decided to move in with my sister for a few days during that summer because it was like 200 degrees and I had been staying with my brother and he had no air conditioner. I thought her and I were close because she had been having problems in her marriage and my husband (now ex) had let her go out with us and we involved her in a lot of the things that we did. Anyway, when I moved into her house she treated me like a complete stranger. I was absolutely stunned. She never offered me any food, wouldn't talk to me, was snappy toward me and etc. It was clear she didn't want me there. I was so hurt. It has been over 4 yrs. that this happened and I have remarried and am happy now. I can't get over how she did me. I feel bitter toward her and sometimes hate her. She acts as if nothing ever happened. How can I get past this?

I am married and my husband has heard how one of my co workers behaves around me. Ex: He touches my nose with a paper just playing around, pushes me, stares with a smile and textes work related questions (not too often) when I'm off and always likes to know who I'm chating with in the computer. I think he's just playful but my husband thinks he wants something. Do you think my husband is right in getting upset even when I am not the one playing around? My husband used to work here and has friends who tell him how the guy acts

My parents went bankrupt on $145,000 less than ten years ago, and they're working their way back up to that again. They've just bought a house, and two brand new cars. My dad only makes about $17/hour and my mom about $15/hour. They have several credit cards, probably maxed and they just spend and spend without EVER saving a dime. If they have an extra $200 one week, they think it's just extra spending money, and don't save or invest a dime. When my mom bought the last car, I told her that I was worried because she and my dad are pushing 50 and haven't a penny saved, and she said that all she cares about is making the monthly payments and she doesn't worry about saving because "she won't be here forever and she assumes that one of us (her 4 kids) can handle it when they're gone"!!! I can't believe that. So basically, she's living the high life and racking up all this debt expecting US to deal with this later. My husband and I are only 25 and have a baby, I don't want to have to pay off

My husband and I have been married for 7 years, and we had nothing big for our wedding. We just got married quietly, and in front of the justice of the peace. Our Anniversary is coming up in Feb 2008, and we would like to have a big wedding type party but we are already married. We would like all our friends and family to be present this time. I don't know if I should renew my vows?? As that costs money too. Back to the party, I really want to have a party but the only thing is , I do not know what to call the party?? Any suggestions?? One suggestion I got was "Wedding renewal" PLEASE HELP!! And give me any suggestions!!

Thank you

My parents are in the middle of a divorce, and yesterday night my dad packed up his bags and left us.
He's never really been much of a dad, and I barely ever saw him because he always came home late at night.
I don't even remember him coming on any vacations with us.
He was always watching TV or working.
I found out over the Summer that this is his 3rd marriage, and also I've found out a lot of other stuff.
I feel like I really hate him for leaving us and never being a real dad....
I don't know...
How can I get rid of my hatred?
I know it's not good for me and it can cause me stress, especially since I just switched schools.
I don't know what to do.

Ok, if thre was this girl that liked you, but never really talked to you in person and you never really felt anything for her. Then she suddenly stopped calling you and then when people would ask if she liked you, she would say no, and started talking to you in a really friendly way and never mentioned any likeness again. would you eventually start to see her in a different way and maybe start to like her?
