don't say such a thing.
why should you die because she is getting married?
she would not do it over you!!!
so cut loose the rope, the one that ties you to the woman and move on. you have everything to gain and nothing to loose.
I am sure that once you start a new chapter of your life you'll laugh about all of this and very soon you'll find the right partner again and fall in love.
Let her go, don't be sad and instead of crying over her new bliss.... laugh at the good future awaiting you.
get a new hobby, start some new activity and start socializing with other women. you'll see that your freedom is something very nice also.
good luck and b good

DID I MISSUNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION??? SHE WANTS TO REMARRY YOU????? OMG !!!! WHAT A MESS.
I THOUGHT SHE MARRIES SOME OTHER DUDE. SORRY. but either way... move on, no way remarry that person.

Your question is unclear.

Does your ex-wife want to remarry someone else? If yes say a prayer for the poor SOB and celebrate your freedom.

If she wants to remarry you, tell her you lost all your money in a poker game and she won't bother you again.

don't be needy. talk to a conunselor. i know that's not the "manly" thing to do, but that's tough hunny! no one can tell you to move on because it's easier said than done believe me. but if you act needy with her than you're going to send her fast into someone else's arms. but listen, you have to think, why- WHY don't you want her to remarry? you don't want her but don't want anyone else to be with her either? if that's the truth hey, that's okay! i've been there! but do you want her back? does she ever give you any indication she wants YOU back? if not- you're answer is clear. WHY did you break up? divorce is more final than marriage. you have to think about why why why. then ask her. ask her if there is any chance she is still in love with you and it might work, reconsider marrying this other man. do you have kids? don't use that per se, but tell her you want to make a go at it for them. (if that's the truth).

If you are feeling this way I would say don't remarry. Marriage shouldn't seem like a punishment and it is obvious you feel trapped. Tell her you don't want to remarry and if she can't handle it then tell her she needs to move on.

Just thought I'd point out that you have to be VERY specific on Yahoo Answers. You didn't quite make clear whether or not she wants to remarry you, and you're opting for a death sentence instead or whether or not she wants to marry someone else, and it's killing you. Please clarify?! It can get ya into trouble around here ya know?!

do you love her? If yes why not, if she has made a mistake in the past I'm sure she has learnt from it. I Have! But i guess it depends on why she is your Ex wife. If you would care to enlighten more maybe someone may have a better answer.

Depends how far you feet will be from the ground when you jump off the chair. But seriously..Have the issues been resolved since the divorce in the first place. If they arent dont do it.......If you love her, just do it!

Why don't you just tell her you don't want to remarry? Don't make yourself suffer for other people, especially someone you don't want to marry anyway. Tell her that. She may be hurt, but after a while...I'm sure she'll get over it. =]
